Job Summary
Serve as a product architect within an insurance solutions group shaping scalable cloud enabled implementations of core insurance platforms using the Guidewire Insurance Suite Gosu and PCF. Enable robust integration patterns through GW Cloud Integration Framework and accelerators that improve reliability reduce operational risk and support continuous digital innovation for global insurance clients.
Responsibilities
- Design end to end product architectures for Guidewire Insurance Suite solutions that align with business goals technical constraints and long term scalability needs
- Define target reference architectures leveraging GW Cloud Integration Framework to enable secure resilient and reusable integration patterns across enterprise systems
- Develop detailed solution designs for core policy billing and claims capabilities using Guidewire Insurance Suite fundamentals with a strong focus on maintainability and performance
- Create component interaction models using PCF to ensure consistent user experiences and intuitive workflows across digital insurance portals and internal applications
- Author and review Gosu based logic designs that support complex rating rules underwriting validations and claims processing flows while maintaining code clarity
- Guide teams in selecting and implementing appropriate Guidewire tools and accelerators to speed delivery improve quality and reduce custom development effort
- Review integration specifications for Guidewire Insurance Suite Integration to ensure accurate data mapping error handling strategies and alignment with cloud integration best practices
- Collaborate with product owners and business stakeholders to translate requirements into clear architectural blueprints that balance functionality cost and operational risk
- Establish coding patterns and configuration standards for Guidewire assets so that multiple delivery teams can work in a consistent and predictable manner
- Perform impact analysis for new features and change requests highlighting architectural risks and proposing mitigation strategies that protect system stability
- Oversee non functional design aspects including performance security observability and reliability so that solutions meet enterprise expectations in day shift operations
- Partner with hybrid work teams across locations to support design reviews resolve complex technical issues and ensure that delivery outcomes meet architectural intent
- Document architecture decisions integration contracts and design rationales so that future teams can maintain and extend cloud based Guidewire solutions efficiently
Qualifications
- Possess extensive experience of ten to fourteen years in designing and implementing enterprise scale solutions using Guidewire Insurance Suite fundamentals across policy billing or claims domains
- Demonstrate advanced hands on expertise with GW Cloud Integration Framework including patterns for event driven integration batch interfaces and real time service orchestration
- Exhibit strong proficiency with Guidewire Insurance Suite Integration using web services messaging and middleware platforms in order to connect core systems with partner ecosystems
- Show practical experience using Guidewire tools and accelerators to configure extend and upgrade applications while maintaining alignment with product best practices
- Apply deep knowledge of PCF to design maintainable user interface components reusable layouts and accessibility aware customer and operations user journeys
- Utilize Gosu programming experience to implement robust business rules data validation logic and transaction processing flows that remain easy to test and evolve
- Bring familiarity with cloud native design principles such as fault tolerance scalability and observability to ensure that Guidewire deployments operate reliably in modern hosting environments
- Communicate architectural concepts clearly in hybrid working models supporting collaboration with distributed engineering testing and operations teams in a day shift context
- Leverage experience in insurance industry processes and terminology to design solutions that improve efficiency enhance customer experiences and support responsible innovation
Certifications Required
Guidewire Certified Specialist in PolicyCenter or ClaimCenter and any recognized cloud architect certification such as a major provider associate level
