Job Summary

This hybrid role of Functional Lead focuses on designing and optimizing SAP Transportation Management solutions enhanced with Generative AI to support industrial and process manufacturing operations. The role covers transportation planning subcontracting tendering freight cost management and settlement TM analytics and EWM integration ensuring resilient logistics processes for rotational shift operations.


Responsibilities

  • Drive end to end configuration and enhancement of SAP Transportation Management to support complex transportation planning for industrial and process manufacturing operations in a hybrid work model
  • Design transportation planning scenarios that align with plant production rhythms and warehouse constraints to improve on time delivery performance and asset utilization
  • Coordinate closely with process manufacturing stakeholders to translate unique batch handling and compliance needs into practical SAP TM transportation execution flows
  • Implement and refine SAP TM subcontracting and tendering scenarios that enable efficient carrier collaboration and transparent logistics partner performance tracking
  • Configure SAP TM freight cost management and settlement processes to ensure accurate charge calculation allocation and posting into downstream financial and controlling systems
  • Develop and manage SAP TM analytics content that provides insight into transportation cost drivers carrier performance and lane productivity to guide data based decisions
  • Integrate SAP TM with SAP Extended Warehouse Management to support seamless order handovers dock appointment scheduling and warehouse task orchestration
  • Apply Generative AI capabilities to automate documentation scenario simulation and configuration proposal drafting to accelerate change requests and solution design
  • Collaborate with business users to conduct requirement workshops document functional specifications and validate solutions through structured testing cycles
  • Monitor system performance and incident queues during rotational shifts to ensure stable transportation execution across plants and distribution centers
  • Prepare and deliver process documentation user guidance content and training sessions to drive adoption of new SAP TM and analytics capabilities
  • Review change requests for impact on upstream and downstream processes ensuring that transportation solutions remain compliant with industrial and process manufacturing constraints
  • Partner with internal teams to align SAP TM enhancements with broader supply chain transformation initiatives that support sustainable and resilient logistics outcomes


Qualifications

  • Possess practical experience in Generative AI solution usage within enterprise contexts with the ability to explain model outputs and integrate them into SAP related workflows
  • Demonstrate hands on expertise in SAP TM analytics including key figure design reporting views and performance dashboards that support operational and strategic decisions
  • Exhibit strong skills in SAP EWM integration with SAP TM including order based and delivery based integration scenarios and handling unit based processes
  • Show proven competence in SAP TM subcontracting and tendering processes covering carrier assignment strategies bid management steps and monitoring of tender outcomes
  • Have advanced experience in SAP TM freight cost management and settlement including condition setup calculation rules dispute handling and integration with finance applications
  • Bring solid knowledge of SAP TM transportation planning functions including capacity constraints multi stop scenarios and multimodal transportation structures
  • Hold domain experience in industrial manufacturing and process manufacturing industries with familiarity in typical logistics flows compliance needs and plant warehouse interactions
  • Display the ability to work effectively in hybrid and rotational shift models including strong communication discipline and documented handover practices
  • Expertise in Charge Management and Charge Settlement


Certifications Required

Optional SAP Certified Application Associate in Transportation Management or equivalent certification in SAP Supply Chain plus any Generative AI foundations course
