Job Summary

Infra Dev Specialist role focused on designing and enhancing monitoring and observability solutions using Splunk ITSI in a hybrid work model for a global enterprise client. The role involves building resilient dashboards alerts and service models that improve system reliability reduce downtime and provide actionable insights to operations and product teams across the organization.


Responsibilities

  • Design and implement end to end monitoring solutions using Splunk ITSI that provide clear visibility into infrastructure health and application performance across complex enterprise environments
  • Develop service oriented models in Splunk ITSI that map business services to underlying technical components to enable faster incident correlation and impact assessment
  • Configure and fine tune notable events alerting and correlation rules in Splunk ITSI to minimize noise and highlight incidents that require immediate operational attention
  • Build and optimize custom dashboards reports and glass tables that present meaningful real time insights for technology and business stakeholders supporting data informed decision making
  • Collaborate closely with infrastructure application and operations teams to understand monitoring requirements and translate them into scalable Splunk ITSI use cases and configurations
  • Automate data onboarding enrichment and normalization processes for various infrastructure and application data sources to ensure consistent and reliable observability across environments
  • Analyze historical monitoring data and incident trends using Splunk to identify recurring issues propose remediation actions and support continuous improvement of system reliability and performance
  • Optimize search queries correlation searches and data models within Splunk ITSI to improve performance reduce resource consumption and ensure timely alert generation
  • Document solution designs configuration standards and operational runbooks for Splunk ITSI implementations to support sustainable operations and knowledge transfer within the team
  • Provide day to day support for existing Splunk ITSI implementations by troubleshooting issues validating data quality and coordinating fixes with relevant technical teams
  • Work within a hybrid work model collaborating through digital tools and occasional onsite workshops to ensure alignment with global stakeholders and project objectives
  • Contribute to organizational observability strategy by recommending best practices reusable patterns and standard metrics that align with the company purpose of delivering reliable digital services to society
  • Ensure solutions comply with enterprise security governance and data privacy policies so that monitoring data is handled responsibly and supports trust with customers and partners

  • Qualifications

  • Possess seven to eight years of experience in infrastructure or application monitoring with significant hands on exposure to designing and implementing observability solutions in large environments
  • Demonstrate advanced practical experience with Splunk ITSI including configuring services entities glass tables correlation searches and notable events for complex use cases
  • Show strong proficiency in writing and optimizing Splunk searches and knowledge objects to handle large volumes of machine data while maintaining performance and accuracy
  • Exhibit solid understanding of infrastructure components such as servers networks storage and cloud platforms to design monitoring that reflects real world dependencies and failure modes
  • Display experience working in hybrid work models collaborating effectively across distributed teams and managing priorities in a structured and transparent manner
  • Apply sound analytical and problem solving skills to interpret monitoring data identify root causes and communicate findings clearly to technical and nontechnical stakeholders
  • Bring familiarity with complementary monitoring or logging tools and practices so that Splunk ITSI solutions can integrate effectively into a broader observability ecosystem
