Job Summary
Serve as a Lead Administrator specializing in SAP GRC Process Control SAP Security SAP GRC Access Control and ABAP Authorization ensuring secure compliant and efficient enterprise systems for a global organization. Collaborate with cross functional teams in a hybrid work model to protect critical assets support audits and enable business innovation while maintaining strong governance.
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize SAP GRC Process Control configurations to ensure consistent compliance monitoring and timely identification of control gaps across core business processes in a complex multinational environment.
- Administer SAP Security by designing and maintaining robust role architectures that minimize access risk while enabling efficient system usage for diverse business functions.
- Configure and support SAP GRC Access Control components to streamline user provisioning access risk analysis and firefighter usage thereby reducing violations and audit findings.
- Coordinate periodic access reviews and remediation activities with business owners to ensure that user access remains aligned with job responsibilities and regulatory expectations.
- Develop and maintain ABAP Authorization concepts by defining authorization objects roles and profiles that align with organizational policies and protect sensitive data.
- Troubleshoot complex authorization and access issues by performing detailed analysis collaborating with technical teams and implementing sustainable long term fixes.
- Document security design decisions configuration rationales and standard operating procedures to support audit readiness operational continuity and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Engage with stakeholders from research and development manufacturing and supply chain to translate functional requirements into secure and scalable access models that support innovation and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with project teams to assess security impacts of system changes evaluate risks and recommend mitigation strategies that balance control needs with user productivity.
- Monitor security and GRC related system performance logs and alerts to identify anomalies potential breaches or misconfigurations and initiate prompt corrective actions.
- Provide guidance to peer administrators and functional analysts on SAP security and GRC best practices fostering a culture of strong governance and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with internal and external audit teams during assessments by supplying requested evidence explaining control designs and supporting remediation plans for identified findings.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in security and GRC processes by leveraging lessons learned user feedback and emerging governance standards to enhance system reliability and reduce operational risk.
Qualifications
- Possess six to ten years of hands on experience working with SAP GRC Process Control SAP Security SAP GRC Access Control and ABAP Authorization in complex enterprise environments.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in designing building and maintaining SAP security roles and authorization concepts that comply with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
- Exhibit practical knowledge of audit and compliance practices by supporting internal and external audits and by implementing remediation measures to close identified gaps.
- Apply solid understanding of research and development manufacturing and supply chain processes to design access models that reflect real operational needs and segregation of duties constraints.
- Show proven ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model by using collaboration tools clear communication and structured documentation to coordinate with global teams.
- Display strong analytical and problem solving capabilities by diagnosing complex security issues evaluating alternatives and delivering timely and sustainable resolutions.
- Communicate clearly and constructively with technical and non technical stakeholders by explaining security topics in accessible language and aligning solutions with business goals.
Certifications Required
Preferred certifications include SAP Certified Associate in SAP Access Control or equivalent SAP security and GRC accreditation.
