Title: Ace Certified GW Policy Center developer

Drive functional excellence for an insurance solutions group as a senior functional specialist with deep experience in property and casualty insurance and the Guidewire insurance suite. Apply expertise in Policy Center Billing Center digital portals accelerators and generative AI to design and optimize hybrid model solutions that streamline day shift operations for global clients in a no travel role.


Responsibilities

  • Lead end to end functional analysis for complex property and casualty insurance implementations and translate business objectives into clear Guidewire solution designs that maximize client value and operational efficiency.
  • Drive requirements discovery with business stakeholders and subject matter experts and document detailed user journeys and process flows for policy billing and customer service operations enabled by the Guidewire insurance suite.
  • Coordinate closely with technical architects and configuration teams to align functional specifications with capabilities of Guidewire PolicyCenter BillingCenter and digital portals while ensuring feasible and scalable solution options.
  • Define and refine rating underwriting claims and billing business rules so that PolicyCenter and BillingCenter configurations accurately reflect regulatory compliance risk appetite and product strategy across multiple lines of business.
  • Develop functional designs for digital portal experiences that improve agent and customer self service journeys including quote bind service and account maintenance scenarios integrated with core Guidewire systems.
  • Apply Guidewire tools and accelerators to design reusable templates configurations and process patterns that reduce delivery effort improve quality and support faster product launches for property and casualty offerings.
  • Collaborate with data and AI specialists to identify generative AI opportunities such as intelligent document summarization conversational assistance and knowledge retrieval that enhance daily user productivity within Guidewire based workflows.
  • Validate end to end functional behavior through test scenario design test data definition and user acceptance testing support so that delivered solutions meet quality expectations and business outcomes for each release.
  • Provide daily functional guidance to cross functional hybrid teams by clarifying requirements resolving defects and tracking functional risks and issues through to closure to maintain predictable day shift delivery.
  • Conduct impact analysis for change requests regulatory updates and product enhancements to assess downstream effects on policy billing reporting and digital experiences and recommend low risk implementation approaches.
  • Prepare clear training materials and conduct walkthrough sessions for business users and operations teams to promote confident adoption of new Guidewire features and digital capabilities in their day to day work.
  • Document target operating models business controls and process metrics that demonstrate how the implemented solution improves straight through processing reduces manual effort and enhances customer and agent satisfaction.
  • Partner with client stakeholders to define measurable success criteria and continuously review functional performance indicators so that solution improvements contribute to the company mission of making insurance more accessible resilient and responsive to society.


Qualifications

  • Offer professional experience of twelve to sixteen years in insurance technology initiatives with a strong focus on property and casualty insurance processes products and regulatory environments.
  • Demonstrate extensive hands on exposure to Guidewire PolicyCenter BillingCenter and the broader Guidewire insurance suite fundamentals including configuration workflows rating and integration touchpoints.
  • Show proven proficiency in leveraging Guidewire tools and accelerators to streamline delivery cycles create reusable assets and support standardized implementation practices across multiple client engagements.
  • Display practical involvement in Guidewire digital portal solutions covering customer and agent facing journeys with emphasis on usability responsiveness and integration with core systems of record.
  • Bring applied experience in generative AI concepts and platforms in the context of insurance use cases such as document understanding conversational support and knowledge search embedded in business workflows.
  • Exhibit strong analytical communication and documentation abilities that enable clear requirement definitions effective stakeholder collaboration and smooth coordination within a hybrid work environment.
  • Prefer prior exposure to large multinational clients or global delivery models where alignment across time zones governance frameworks and quality standards was essential to project success.


Certifications Required

Guidewire Certified Policy Center Specialist or Billing Center Specialist or equivalent property and casualty insurance certification such as AINS
