Job Summary

Serve as a Functional Architect specializing in SAP EWM and S4 HANA value added services designing and validating end to end warehouse and yard processes for automotive and consumer programs in a hybrid work model. Collaborate with cross functional teams to optimize customer loyalty and social media command center insights ensuring robust scalable and testable solutions aligned to business goals.


Responsibilities

  • Design comprehensive SAP EWM and S4 HANA functional solutions that align warehouse operations yard activities and value added services with strategic business objectives for automotive and consumer programs.
  • Coordinate detailed functional design for SAP EWM testing scopes including inbound outbound internal warehouse movements and complex handling unit flows to ensure predictable and reliable operations.
  • Drive integration scenarios for SAP EWM with S4 HANA and connected applications by defining functional mappings data flows and exception handling rules that support real time visibility.
  • Document and validate functional requirements for SAP yard and resource management covering yard layout dock appointments vehicle movements and resource planning to increase throughput and asset utilization.
  • Configure and refine value added service processes in S4 HANA and SAP EWM such as kitting labeling repacking and quality related activities to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
  • Define functional test strategies and design end to end test cases for SAP EWM and integration flows ensuring that regression and system tests cover high risk and high value business scenarios.
  • Collaborate with product owners business process experts and test teams to prioritize backlog items clarify functional design decisions and remove blockers that affect timely delivery.
  • Analyze incident trends production defects and performance issues in SAP EWM and yard management and recommend functional improvements that reduce recurring issues and improve service reliability.
  • Translate social media command center insights into functional enhancements in customer facing processes by aligning service responses fulfillment options and return flows with warehouse capabilities.
  • Shape loyalty driven process designs by defining functional rules for order prioritization fulfillment promises and special handling tasks in SAP EWM that reward loyal customers while protecting margin.
  • Map automotive industry specific requirements such as vin based tracking sequence deliveries packaging standards and just in sequence flows into SAP EWM and yard management functional designs.
  • Engage with stakeholders in a hybrid work model through structured workshops virtual design sessions and regular demos to validate solutions and obtain informed sign offs.
  • Produce clear functional specifications process flow diagrams and test ready documentation that support development integration and quality assurance teams across locations.


Qualifications

  • Apply extensive experience of more than ten years in SAP EWM functional design and testing to guide complex implementations and reduce rework through well structured requirement analysis.
  • Utilize proven expertise in SAP EWM integration patterns to connect warehouse processes with S4 HANA transportation and external systems while maintaining data quality and process consistency.
  • Leverage hands on knowledge of SAP yard and resource management capabilities to design solutions that optimize gate yard and dock operations in high volume automotive environments.
  • Use advanced understanding of S4 HANA value added services to craft process variants that cover kitting inspection and customization tasks tailored to different customer segments.
  • Apply domain knowledge of social media command center operations to align case handling escalation flows and feedback loops with downstream logistics and fulfillment steps.
  • Draw on experience in customer loyalty management to embed loyalty tiers benefits and priority handling into warehouse and order management processes that can be measured and improved.
  • Bring deep familiarity with automotive industry processes to ensure that functional solutions respect industry specific regulations quality expectations and supplier collaboration models.
  • Communicate effectively with cross functional teams in a hybrid environment demonstrating the ability to explain complex SAP EWM and S4 HANA concepts in a clear and structured manner.
