Job Summary

Serve as a senior cloud architect specializing in Azure platforms to design implement and optimize secure and scalable enterprise solutions for a global organization using deep expertise in Azure DevOps Azure AD and Azure PaaS to modernize applications and improve delivery efficiency in a hybrid work model with no travel required.


Responsibilities

  • Design end to end Azure PaaS architectures that support mission critical enterprise applications while aligning with organizational standards and long term scalability goals.
  • Drive cloud solution blueprints that integrate Azure DevOps Azure AD and Azure PaaS services to streamline delivery pipelines and enhance platform reliability.
  • Optimize cloud resource utilization by reviewing consumption patterns proposing right sizing strategies and guiding implementation to reduce total cost of ownership.
  • Coordinate with product teams security experts and operations personnel to translate complex business requirements into clear and actionable Azure designs.
  • Define and enforce standards for repository structure branching models build pipelines and release processes using Azure DevOps to achieve consistent deployment quality.
  • Implement robust identity and access designs with Azure AD by configuring application registrations conditional access and role based access models that protect critical assets.
  • Evaluate existing application portfolios and recommend modernization approaches using Azure PaaS components such as app services serverless compute and managed data services.
  • Create reference architectures design patterns and documentation that guide delivery teams toward reusable and compliant Azure solutions across programs.
  • Review solutions for security resilience observability and operational readiness by assessing logging monitoring backup and disaster recovery approaches for each workload.
  • Mentor senior engineers and architects by sharing practical guidance on Azure DevOps practices infrastructure as code and automated testing strategies that improve quality.
  • Collaborate with finance risk and accounting stakeholders to shape cloud solutions that respect regulatory constraints and data sensitivity across financial processes.
  • Guide hybrid work model collaboration by setting expectations for remote design sessions documentation quality and knowledge sharing practices that keep teams aligned.
  • Measure architecture effectiveness by defining technical success metrics and reviewing operational data to validate performance reliability and security outcomes.


Qualifications

  • Showcase extensive experience in Azure architecture by demonstrating hands on design and implementation work using Azure PaaS data and integration services at enterprise scale.
  • Apply expert working knowledge of Azure DevOps by describing prior work building complex pipelines automated deployments and integrated testing for large solutions.
  • Demonstrate deep proficiency in Azure AD by explaining how identity models application security and conditional access policies were designed and improved in previous programs.
  • Utilize strong background in infrastructure as code through tools such as Bicep or Terraform to achieve consistent repeatable and auditable Azure environments.
  • Exhibit broad understanding of networking security and compliance concepts that are necessary to design Azure solutions for regulated industries and sensitive data workloads.
  • Highlight experience collaborating with finance and accounting teams or related domains to design solutions that support financial controls reporting and audit needs.
  • Bring excellent communication and analytical skills that enable clear explanation of complex cloud concepts to technical and non technical stakeholders across global teams.
  • Display a career history of 20 to 24 years in technology with a strong focus on cloud architecture modern engineering practices and continuous improvement outcomes.
