Job Summary

Serve as a senior developer specializing in webMethods integration and product lifecycle management designing and building secure scalable interfaces that connect enterprise platforms in a hybrid work model. Apply advanced skills in webMethods eStandards Broker Deployer API Developer and Adapters to deliver high quality integration solutions that streamline product data flows and support complex business processes across the product lifecycle.


Responsibilities

  • Design and implement complex integration solutions using webMethods Developer to connect diverse enterprise applications supporting end to end product lifecycle processes from concept to retirement.
  • Configure and optimize webMethods eStandards to enable reliable exchange of business documents and product data between internal systems and external partners in a controlled and traceable manner.
  • Develop and maintain webMethods Broker based messaging solutions that support high volume transactional flows and ensure consistent data synchronization across product lifecycle management platforms.
  • Create secure and reusable webMethods API services that expose core product lifecycle functions to consuming applications while enforcing governance access control and performance standards.
  • Configure and automate deployments using webMethods Deployer to promote integration packages across environments ensuring consistent configurations repeatable releases and minimal service disruption.
  • Design integration patterns and data transformation mappings that align with product lifecycle management domain needs ensuring accurate product structures attributes and change information across systems.
  • Perform end to end troubleshooting of integration issues by analyzing logs monitoring runtime behavior and collaborating with cross functional teams to resolve defects within agreed timelines.
  • Collaborate with product lifecycle management process owners to translate functional requirements into robust technical integration designs that improve data quality and process efficiency.
  • Optimize existing webMethods interfaces by analyzing performance metrics and applying tuning techniques that reduce latency improve throughput and increase overall system stability.
  • Maintain detailed technical documentation for interfaces mappings deployment procedures and operational runbooks to support maintainability and effective knowledge transfer within the team.
  • Conduct code reviews for integration components to uphold development standards ensure secure coding practices and promote consistent design approaches across the integration landscape.
  • Coordinate with infrastructure and operations teams to validate capacity requirements define monitoring thresholds and support incident resolution for integration services in the hybrid work environment.
  • Guide junior developers through informal mentoring on webMethods tools integration patterns and product lifecycle management concepts to uplift overall team capability without assuming formal leadership duties.
  • Engage in continuous improvement activities by identifying integration automation opportunities that streamline product data flows and contribute to faster innovation and better experiences for end customers.
  • Participate in requirement refinement and estimation discussions by providing effort assessments and technical risk inputs that help stakeholders plan releases realistically for day shift operations.
  • Ensure adherence to enterprise security compliance and audit requirements across all integration solutions so that product information remains protected throughout the lifecycle.

    • Qualifications

  • Bring proven experience in webMethods eStandards and webMethods Developer for building enterprise grade integrations that support complex product lifecycle management workflows.
  • Demonstrate hands on proficiency with webMethods Broker Adapters and Deployer to design reliable messaging manage system connectivity and automate consistent deployments across environments.
  • Exhibit practical expertise in creating and managing webMethods API services that support secure consumption patterns and align with architectural guidelines for integration platforms.
  • Apply strong software design and development principles including modular design reusable components and effective error handling to deliver maintainable integration solutions.
  • Show solid knowledge of product lifecycle management processes including product structure management change control and release management as they relate to data integrations.
  • Utilize experience working in hybrid delivery models and day shift schedules to collaborate efficiently with distributed teams while maintaining clear communication and predictable delivery.
  • Display effective problem solving and analytical skills that support efficient incident resolution root cause analysis and continuous refinement of integration services for business value.

    • Certifications Required

    Preferred certifications include Software AG webMethods Integration and API certifications or comparable integration platform certification.
