Job Summary

Test Manager and Test Lead This role operates within a hybrid model focused on leading and delivering high-quality results, utilizing structured test design and defect tracking tools. The function involves planning, executing, and documenting tests on centralized and distributed platforms, collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve product reliability and customer satisfaction, contributing to continuous improvement by suggesting optimizations to test process templates and checklists, thereby enhancing efficiency and reducing cycle time for future projects. It also entails applying conceptual knowledge to validate functional scenarios and ensure the accuracy of records, as well as delivering KPIs, reports, and identifying risks in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Execute test scenarios for web and mobile applications using test management tools to ensure that business rules and regulatory requirements are validated accurately and consistently across all versions.

• Design detailed test cases and test data based on functional and technical specifications, improving test coverage and reducing production incidents.

• Use test management tools to log, track, and retest defects, maintaining clear descriptions and evidence so that development and business teams can quickly understand the issues and agree on resolution priorities.

• Review job flows and dependencies to identify potential test risks, verify preconditions and postconditions, and support the smooth execution of end-to-end test cycles in financial systems.

• Analyze test results and transaction data to detect anomalies.

• Collaborate with functional analysts, developers, and operations teams in a hybrid work model to clarify requirements, refine test conditions, and ensure that delivered functionalities meet agreed-upon acceptance criteria.

• Prepare clear status reports on test evidence and simple metrics that communicate progress, defect trends, and areas of risk, so that project teams can make informed decisions about releases.

• Support regression testing by maintaining reusable test cases and datasets from test management tools, ensuring that critical flows remain stable across multiple versions and environments.

• Adhere to day shift schedules and hybrid work practices, coordinating effectively with on-site and remote colleagues, and managing time and tasks to meet agreed-upon deadlines.

• Participate in peer reviews of test cases and test results, sharing constructive feedback and adopting best practices that improve overall quality across the testing team.

• Contribute to continuous improvement by suggesting enhancements to testing process templates and checklists, thereby improving efficiency and reducing cycle time for future projects.

• Apply conceptual knowledge to validate functional scenarios and safeguard the accuracy of records.

Qualifications

• Combine academic knowledge in information technology or a related field with a strong interest in quality assurance to understand system behavior.

• Basic programming skills.

• Leadership and team management skills.

• Utilize basic experience with test management tools to organize test cycles, manage test execution status, and store evidence in a structured manner to meet audit and compliance needs.

• Apply practical skills with test management tools to collaborate on defect resolution and maintain transparent communication with development and business teams regarding the status and impact of defects.

• Demonstrate practical familiarity with management systems (SAP preferred) to perform end-to-end testing on systems with minimal supervision.

• Leverage process experience to interpret requirements, create test scenarios, and better understand the implications of defects on financial reporting.

• Demonstrate a willingness to learn new testing techniques, automation approaches, and domain concepts, adapting quickly to changing project needs while maintaining a strong focus on quality results.
