Responsibilities : -Design and architect end to end data platforms that use Spark in Scala PySpark and Azure Synapse services to deliver robust analytics capabilities for complex enterprise scenarios in a hybrid work environment -Develop scalable data ingestion and transformation solutions using Structured Streaming and Kafka that provide near real time insights while maintaining reliability and consistency across environments -Define logical and physical data models optimized for Azure Data Lake Store and Synapse Serverless SQL Pool to ensure efficient storage query performance and cost effectiveness for large media datasets -Implement secure data access patterns using Azure Key Vault and Azure Active Directory integrations that protect sensitive information while supporting governed self service analytics for diverse stakeholders -Configure monitor and optimize Azure Synapse Spark Pools and related compute resources to balance performance scalability and consumption costs for batch and streaming workloads -Create reusable patterns and reference architectures for Synapse Pipelines and Azure DevOps that enable continuous integration and continuous deployment of data solutions with strong quality controls -Develop automation scripts using Azure CLI Azure PowerShell and Python that streamline environment provisioning configuration management and operational tasks for data and analytics platforms -Establish monitoring and observability practices using Azure Monitor and related logging capabilities that provide proactive detection root cause analysis and performance tuning insights -Collaborate with product teams data engineers and analysts to translate media domain requirements into data solutions that improve audience insights content performance measurement and revenue optimization -Review solution designs SQL and PySpark code and configuration implementations to ensure adherence to architectural standards data governance policies and security guidelines -Guide optimization of complex SQL and PySpark queries and data flows that improve latency throughput and resource utilization for both interactive analytics and scheduled workloads -Document architecture decisions solution blueprints and operational runbooks in clear and maintainable formats that support knowledge sharing and long term platform sustainability -Engage with stakeholders to prioritize technical debt reduction and platform evolution activities that increase reliability reduce incident risk and align data capabilities with strategic business objectives -Qualifications -Showcase extensive experience of thirteen to fifteen years in designing and implementing large scale data solutions with a strong focus on Spark in Scala PySpark and Azure Synapse services in enterprise settings -Demonstrate advanced proficiency in building data pipelines with Synapse Pipelines Kafka Structured Streaming and SQL that support both batch and streaming patterns for analytical and operational use cases -Exhibit strong skills in Azure Data Lake Store Azure Synapse Serverless SQL Pool and Azure Synapse Spark Pool that enable performant data modeling storage optimization and compute configuration -Display solid experience with Azure CLI Azure PowerShell and Python scripting that supports automation environment provisioning and operational efficiency across multiple Azure subscriptions -Apply deep understanding of Azure Monitor Azure Key Vault and Azure DevOps to ensure secure observable and continuously delivered data platforms that meet enterprise compliance requirements -Prefer experience in media domain data such as audience measurement content analytics and digital engagement metrics that boosts the relevance and business impact of the designed solutions -Value experience working in hybrid work models and day shift alignment that supports collaboration across distributed teams and effective participation in global delivery contexts 9.
