FR 2052a Reporting, US Liquidity Reporting
Experience: 9+ Years
Location: Bangalore only
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to join our Technology team, with a specialized focus on US Liquidity reporting under the Federal Reserve's FR 2052a regulatory framework. In this role, you will serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, translating complex Liquidity reporting requirements into actionable system solutions. You will play a central role in shaping our Liquidity reporting platform while working alongside a team of seasoned technology and finance professionals in an Agile environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Serve as the subject matter expert on FR 2052a regulatory requirements, ensuring system solutions align with Federal Reserve Liquidity reporting standards and submission timelines.
• Translate FR 2052a business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications for development teams.
• Analyze and document data flows, mappings, and transformations across source systems feeding the FR 2052a reporting pipeline.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to validate data quality, conduct reconciliations, and ensure completeness and accuracy of Liquidity report submissions.
• Design and execute comprehensive test strategies and test plans for FR 2052a-related system changes, including UAT coordination with business partners.
• Participate in end-to-end system development lifecycle activities: requirements gathering, solution design, development review, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
• Propose and evaluate solution options for complex Liquidity reporting challenges; build stakeholder consensus and drive design decisions.
• Coordinate code deployments, environment management, and release planning across technology platforms.
• Contribute to project scoping, estimation, risk identification, and mitigation planning.
• Review technical deliverables throughout design and development phases; identify gaps and recommend redesigns as needed.
• Provide escalation support for production incidents impacting Liquidity reporting systems.
• Define metrics and performance goals in partnership with technology peers.
• Mentor junior team members and act as a reference across the software development lifecycle.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent technical certification.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in business systems analysis, with significant exposure to Liquidity Reporting, Risk Management, or Capital Markets.
• Deep, hands-on knowledge of the FR 2052a regulatory report — including product types, maturity buckets, counterparty categorization, and submission requirements under Regulation YY.
• Strong proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for data extraction, validation, and reconciliation across large datasets.
• Proven experience with data mapping and transformation across multiple upstream and downstream systems.
• Demonstrated ability to partner with business stakeholders to validate data and drive testing to closure.
• Strong communication skills — written, verbal, and presentation — with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project/collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Expert knowledge of business analysis principles, system analysis techniques, and project lifecycle methodologies.
• Proven ability to identify and manage risks within and across projects and recommend practical mitigations.
