Responsibilities : - Design and execute comprehensive functional and regression test scenarios for geospatial mapping applications to validate end to end system behavior and data accuracy in a structured manner. - Develop detailed manual test cases and reusable test data for map related workflows and edge conditions to ensure consistent coverage of critical user journeys and operational scenarios. - Implement and maintain automated test scripts for geospatial features using approved frameworks to increase regression coverage and reduce test cycle time across multiple releases. - Collaborate with product owners and geospatial engineers to refine acceptance criteria and clarify complex map behaviors so that test outcomes align with expected business value. - Analyze test results for mapping services and spatial data pipelines to identify defects trends and quality risks then drive timely resolution with development and operations teams. - Configure and optimize CI CD test jobs for geospatial components ensuring that automated suites run reliably on each build and provide fast actionable feedback to stakeholders. - Create clear test plans and execution reports that highlight coverage defect severity and release readiness for geospatial features allowing informed decision making by project teams. - Validate integration of external map data sources and spatial APIs by designing focused tests that confirm data integrity coordinate accuracy and performance against agreed benchmarks. - Coordinate with cross functional teams in the hybrid work environment to plan test cycles manage dependencies and keep all partners informed about quality status and risks. - Mentor junior team members on testing standards for mapping solutions including functional regression automation and CI CD practices to promote consistent quality across the group. - Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes by proposing enhancements to test design automation utilities and CI CD workflows focused on geospatial capabilities. - Perform root cause analysis for recurring mapping defects and recommend corrective actions in test design or data setups that prevent similar issues in future releases. - Document test approaches for geospatial scenarios including map visualization routing search and location accuracy to build a reusable knowledge base for future projects. -Qualifications - Bring extensive experience in functional and regression testing of enterprise applications preferably within geospatial or map centric platforms using structured test design techniques. - Demonstrate strong practical knowledge of manual testing methods including scenario design boundary validation and data driven validation for complex spatial workflows. - Apply hands on experience with automation frameworks and scripting for user interface and API validation to enhance coverage of map rendering and spatial service interactions. - Use working knowledge of CI CD tools and pipelines to integrate automated tests into build processes ensuring consistent and reliable quality checks for every deployment. - Show understanding of software testing life cycle defect management tools and version control practices along with the ability to adapt them to geospatial product contexts. - Communicate clearly with technical and nontechnical partners share test findings and collaborate effectively in a hybrid work setup across distributed teams. 9.
