About the role
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SCM Functional Architect to serve as a trusted advisor and principal domain expert on Oracle Supply Chain Management Cloud implementations. This role will lead end-to-end supply chain transformation initiatives, providing functional leadership across multiple workstreams while delivering scalable, business-aligned solutions across the full project lifecycle.
In this role you will
- Lead end-to-end functional architecture across Oracle SCM Cloud modules including Procurement, Inventory, Cost Management, Order Management, and Master Data Management
- Design enterprise SCM structures such as Legal Entities, Business Units, Inventory Organizations, Item Master Organizations, and supply chain relationships aligned to the client operating model
- Author and manage BRDs, FDDs, SDDs, and Process Design Documents for all in-scope SCM modules
- Define item management strategies including item structures, item classes, profiles, units of measure, and catalog management within Oracle Product Hub
- Drive delivery across all phases including requirements, CRP, SIT, UAT, cutover, and go-live support
- Configure Oracle SCM Cloud modules and maintain configuration workbooks with version control
- Facilitate CRP workshops, UAT sessions, and business process walkthroughs with client stakeholders
- Define and execute SCM data migration strategy covering item masters, BOMs, inventory, purchase orders, sales orders, and supplier data
- Oversee RICEW objects (reports, interfaces, conversions, extensions, workflows) ensuring alignment with functional and technical architecture
- Lead inventory accounting and cost management readiness including period-end close processes
- Support post-go-live stabilization and hypercare activities
- Manage scope, risks, issues, and change requests while providing transparent status updates to program stakeholders
Work Model: Remote with Milestone travel to Halifax, CA
What you need to have to be considered
- Strong experience in Oracle SCM Cloud and Manufacturing implementations across procurement, inventory, and supply chain processes
- Proven track record delivering complex ERP Cloud implementations across multiple supply chain domains
- Experience in Oracle SCM Cloud module configuration and full lifecycle ERP implementations
- Expertise in supply chain network design and enterprise structure setup
- Experience designing procurement and sourcing processes
- Knowledge of planning processes including demand planning, supply planning, and S&OP
- Experience in manufacturing processes and shop-floor execution
- Strong knowledge of inventory, costing, and logistics processes
- Experience with SCM data migration and conversion strategy
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
These will help you stand out
- Master’s degree (MBA, MSc Supply Chain, or Operations Management)
- Experience with OTBI / OAC reporting for supply chain KPIs
- Strong leadership in managing large-scale transformation programs
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional business and IT stakeholders
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $89,550–$120,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
