Job Summary
This role focuses on supporting a global maps platform by using native level Korean language skills to review validate and enhance map related data for customers. The position involves day based work from office with clear processes and quality expectations enabling early career professionals to contribute to accurate location information that improves everyday navigation experiences.
Responsibilities
- Review Korean language map data content to ensure accuracy completeness and consistency with internal quality standards across various regions and use cases.
- Validate place names addresses and points of interest in Korean by comparing multiple data sources to maintain reliable and current mapping information.
- Analyze user submitted map feedback in Korean and apply clear judgment to decide whether to approve reject or update map entries based on documented guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams by sharing precise language based insights that help refine rules tools and workflows for maps data maintenance.
- Document recurring data quality issues in Korean content and suggest practical improvements that help reduce rework and support continuous process optimization.
- Execute daily production tasks within defined volumes and timelines while maintaining a strong focus on accuracy and adherence to quality metrics.
- Utilize internal tools to search filter and edit map attributes in Korean ensuring that updates follow standard naming conventions and formatting rules.
- Communicate clearly with peers and coordinators on task progress blockers and observations so that work queues and priorities remain transparent and manageable.
- Support internal audits by providing well organized evidence and explanations in Korean where required to clarify decisions on map data changes.
- Adapt quickly to new guidelines and tool updates by studying reference materials and applying changes consistently in everyday tasks.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing by recording tips and edge cases related to Korean map data that can help new team members ramp up efficiently.
- Apply basic customer support awareness by understanding how accurate maps impact users and by prioritizing changes that resolve high impact data issues.
- Maintain professional conduct in a work from office environment by following schedules security rules and company values while engaging with coworkers.
Qualifications
- Demonstrate native level proficiency in Korean with the ability to read and write clearly and to interpret nuanced meanings across a variety of map related contexts.
- Show basic proficiency in speaking Korean at a novice professional level to explain findings or clarifications when interacting with internal stakeholders.
- Possess good comprehension of English written instructions so that process documents and global communications can be followed without confusion.
- Bring up to two years of experience in any role where Korean language skills were used for content review data entry translation or similar task based work.
- Exhibit familiarity with customer support or service environments where user satisfaction accuracy and timely response are central outcomes.
- Use common office productivity tools with comfort including spreadsheets browsers and internal web applications for data lookup and reporting.
- Display strong attention to detail with the patience to handle repetitive tasks while keeping focus on quality and guideline adherence.
- Manage time effectively to meet daily and weekly productivity targets without compromising on accuracy or compliance with review standards.
- Adopt a learning mindset to absorb new process updates quickly and to implement feedback from supervisors in subsequent work items.
- Commit to working full time from office during day shifts with reliability in attendance and openness to collaborate with diverse colleagues.
Certifications Required
TOPIK or equivalent Korean proficiency certification preferred any recognized certification in language testing or translation is beneficial
