Job summary

Architect role focused on designing implementing and optimizing secure Microsoft 365 environments for a global organization with emphasis on advanced M365 security capabilities compliance controls and threat protection supporting hybrid work models and day shifts while ensuring resilient collaboration platforms for diverse business functions and stakeholders.


Responsibilities

  • Design secure Microsoft 365 architectures that align with enterprise security policies and business continuity objectives for hybrid work environments
  • Implement advanced configuration of Microsoft 365 security features including identity protection information protection and threat management to reduce enterprise risk exposure
  • Monitor security posture across Microsoft 365 tenants using dashboards alerts and reports to identify vulnerabilities misconfigurations and emerging risks in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams such as infrastructure security operations and application owners to ensure consistent implementation of Microsoft 365 security standards
  • Develop reusable patterns configuration baselines and documentation for Microsoft 365 security solutions that enable efficient onboarding of new projects and business units
  • Conduct impact assessments for new Microsoft 365 features and security updates to determine adoption strategies rollout plans and dependencies on existing platforms
  • Guide incident response teams during Microsoft 365 security events by providing technical analysis containment recommendations and remediation actions to restore normal operations
  • Optimize performance availability and security of Microsoft 365 services by analyzing usage trends capacity metrics and configuration data to drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Create detailed technical documentation runbooks and knowledge articles that support operations teams in managing Microsoft 365 security configurations during day shift activities
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand regulatory requirements data residency constraints and industry best practices and translate them into Microsoft 365 security controls and configurations
  • Configure and maintain governance policies for identities access control data lifecycle and collaboration tools within Microsoft 365 to support secure and compliant business operations
  • Coordinate and deliver knowledge sharing sessions for technology teams and business users to promote secure usage of Microsoft 365 tools and to improve awareness of security features and responsibilities
  • Evaluate third party integrations security add ons and complementary tools for Microsoft 365 to ensure solutions deliver measurable risk reduction and align with organizational architecture principles

  • Qualifications

  • Possess professional experience between six and nine years in designing and implementing Microsoft 365 solutions with a significant focus on security configuration and administration
  • Demonstrate strong expertise in core Microsoft 365 security technologies including identity and access management information protection threat protection endpoint security and compliance tooling
  • Show hands on experience with configuration of conditional access multi factor authentication data loss prevention information classification and mobile access controls within Microsoft 365 environments
  • Bring practical experience working with hybrid identity models using directory services identity synchronization and related security controls supporting enterprise grade deployments
  • Exhibit familiarity with regulatory frameworks data protection standards and industry guidelines and apply these principles when designing secure Microsoft 365 solutions for business stakeholders
  • Display strong analytical and problem solving skills to investigate complex security issues in Microsoft 365 environments and to recommend clear remediation actions and preventive measures
  • Demonstrate effective communication abilities to translate technical Microsoft 365 security concepts into understandable guidance for technology peers and nontechnical stakeholders in hybrid work settings
  • Show commitment to ongoing learning through certifications training and hands on experimentation with new Microsoft 365 security features and evolving cloud security practices to keep organizational environments resilient
