Cognizant is looking for an AWS Architect focused on driving resilient cloud operations. The role emphasizes observability using Splunk and AWS CloudWatch to ensure reliable services improved user experience and continuous performance optimization across cloud platforms.
What you’ll do in the role:
- Implement CloudWatch metrics, logs, dashboards, alarms, and Logs Insights queries
- Build distributed tracing using AWS X-Ray for microservices workflows
- Configure tools for identifying the risks and auditing for compliance purpose
- Provide automated reporting for PCI DSS, SOC 2, GDPR, CIS compliances.
- Configure log ingestion pipelines (CloudWatch Agent, structured logs)
- Implement CloudTrail-based API observability and audit logging
- Design centralized logging architecture with S3 archival and retention policies
- Develop CloudWatch dashboards with dynamic filters and multi-service correlation views
- Configure advanced alerting (composite alarms, anomaly detection, threshold tuning)
- Implement cross-account observability using AWS Organizations and monitoring accounts
- Build multi-region observability dashboards and federated telemetry views
- Enable CI/CD-driven deployment of observability configurations across environments
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Good understanding of Monitoring & Logging tools such as Splunk/Datadog/Prometheus/Grafana
Cognizant is offering an annual salary between $105,000-130,000. In addition, Cognizant offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:
