About the role
As a Senior Boomi Integration Architect, you will make an impact by designing, building, and governing enterprise integration and API management solutions using Dell Boomi AtomSphere and modern API gateway technologies. You will be a valued member of the Enterprise Integration & API Engineering team and work collaboratively with business stakeholders, platform teams, security, and cloud infrastructure teams.
In this role, you will:
Architect and lead enterprise integration solutions using Boomi AtomSphere, including processes, connectors, APIs, EDI, and master data hub (MDH)
Define integration patterns, governance models, and best practices across enterprise platforms
Design and manage the full API lifecycle using Apigee or Kong, including security policies, versioning, rate limiting, and developer portals
Collaborate with ERP, CRM, HRIS, and cloud teams to design end-to-end data flows and scalable architectures
Mentor engineering teams, lead design/code reviews, and drive reusable integration assets and frameworks adoption
Work model: Hybrid

What you need to have to be considered
8+ years of enterprise integration experience with at least 4 years leading Boomi-based architecture at scale
Strong hands-on expertise with Boomi AtomSphere (process design, connectors, API management, EDI, MDH, deployment models)
Experience with API management platforms such as Apigee (X/hybrid) or Kong Gateway (policies, security, analytics, portals)
Solid understanding of integration standards (REST, SOAP, GraphQL, gRPC, EDI formats such as X12/EDIFACT)
Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern infrastructure patterns
These will help you stand out
Dell Boomi Professional Developer certification or equivalent integration platform certification preferred
Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, AWS EventBridge, Azure Service Bus)
Strong security knowledge (OAuth2, OIDC, mTLS, RBAC, secrets management)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools, and integration deployment automation
Exposure to regulated industries (finance, healthcare, or retail) and multi-system integrations (SAP, Salesforce, Workday, ServiceNow)

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $112,500 - $132,000, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
