Job Summary
Consulting Analyst role focused on Property and Casualty insurance clients delivering data driven insights process optimization and solution implementation to strengthen underwriting policy servicing claims and compliance outcomes operating in a hybrid day shift work model with limited onsite interaction and strong collaboration across global consulting teams.
Responsibilities
Deliver consulting analyses for property and casualty insurance clients that clarify current challenges across underwriting rating policy servicing billing and claims and present practical improvement paths that enhance operational efficiency and loss ratio performance.Drive detailed discovery sessions with business stakeholders to elicit requirements on policy administration claims workflows regulatory reporting and customer servicing and translate these findings into clearly structured consulting deliverables and solution backlogs.Develop data driven insights using premium exposure claims and risk data from core insurance platforms to identify trends in loss experience leakage customer behavior and operational bottlenecks that inform client decision making and strategic roadmaps.Prepare client ready documents such as process maps operating model views impact assessments and business cases that communicate recommendations in a concise structured and measurable manner aligned to consulting objectives.Coordinate solution design workshops that connect business requirements with available technology capabilities in policy administration systems claims platforms rating engines and digital engagement tools to support target state architectures.Execute impact assessments for changes to underwriting rules rating logic product features or claims handling guidelines quantifying operational impacts risk implications and expected benefits to support client approvals.Support implementation of process and system enhancements by defining user stories validating functional behavior against business expectations and coordinating user acceptance testing activities for property and casualty use cases.Conduct walkthroughs and demonstrations of proposed processes and solution prototypes to client operations underwriting and claims teams capturing feedback and refining recommendations for practical adoption in day to day work.Collaborate closely with multi disciplinary teams spanning business analysts architects developers testers and client subject matter experts to ensure that each consulting recommendation is feasible traceable and aligned with project constraints.Monitor progress of assigned workstreams using simple tracking mechanisms highlight issues and dependencies in a timely manner and maintain transparent communication with engagement managers and client counterparts.Create and maintain reusable knowledge assets including templates estimation models best practice playbooks and domain reference materials specific to property and casualty insurance.Advance organizational goals by identifying opportunities where improved underwriting discipline better claims management and more accurate rating can contribute to fair pricing improved customer trust and broader societal resilience.Adapt consulting approaches to a hybrid working environment by balancing virtual collaboration tools structured documentation and periodic in person sessions to maintain productivity clear communication and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
Exhibit proven experience of at least three years working in property and casualty insurance environments such as underwriting policy administration claims reinsurance or product configuration with a clear understanding of core processes and terminology.Demonstrate strong analytical abilities in interpreting premium exposure claims and operational data sets and in converting patterns and anomalies into actionable insights and practical recommendations for insurance clients.Apply working knowledge of at least one major property and casualty platform or related ecosystem tooling including areas like policy administration claims management billing or rating to support solution design and validation.Use solid consulting skills including structured communication hypothesis driven analysis stakeholder management and slide creation to deliver clear and persuasive client presentations and written reports.Employ practical knowledge of regulatory and compliance considerations relevant to property and casualty business such as documentation standards reporting expectations and fair treatment principles to shape recommendations.Display familiarity with business analysis practices including requirement elicitation process modeling user story creation and acceptance criteria definition to bridge business expectations and technical delivery.Leverage experience working in hybrid work models and distributed teams by using collaboration platforms virtual workshops and disciplined documentation habits to maintain alignment and productivity without frequent travel.
