Job Summary
The Project Lead will manage end to end delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations implementations in a hybrid work model coordinating with global stakeholders to ensure scalable compliant and high performing solutions. The role focuses on planning execution risk management and quality assurance across day shift engagements without travel requirements.
Responsibilities
Lead complex implementation and enhancement projects on Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations to meet defined business outcomes within agreed timelines and budget constraints.Oversee detailed project planning activities including scope definition effort estimation milestone creation and resource allocation to ensure predictable delivery in a hybrid work environment.Coordinate cross functional teams spanning functional consultants technical developers testers and business stakeholders to drive cohesive execution across all project phases.Monitor project progress using structured metrics and status reports to identify variances early and initiate corrective actions that protect scope quality and cost objectives.Manage day to day issue resolution by facilitating clarifications on finance and operations processes and ensuring timely decisions that keep project activities on track.Engage with customer stakeholders during workshops and review sessions to translate finance and operations requirements into actionable Dynamics 365 solution tasks for the team.Drive configuration and customization oversight for core modules such as general ledger accounts payable accounts receivable and inventory to ensure alignment with business controls and compliance standards.Review solution designs functional documents and test scenarios to confirm that they reflect best practices of Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations and adhere to enterprise architecture guidelines.Guide system integration and data migration activities by coordinating mapping validation and reconciliation tasks that safeguard data quality and operational continuity.Implement robust risk and dependency management routines by maintaining logs performing impact analysis and driving mitigation actions that reduce delivery uncertainty.Ensure testing and deployment readiness by orchestrating user acceptance testing cycles cutover plans and stabilization activities that support smooth transition to production operations.Provide clear and timely communication on project health achievements and challenges to internal leadership and client sponsors to maintain transparency and build lasting trust.Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned standardizing reusable project assets and promoting automation opportunities that enhance future Dynamics 365 project delivery.
Qualifications
Require strong hands on project experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations across at least two end to end implementation or major upgrade programs.Require proven capability in managing project scope schedule and budget using structured methods and recognized project management practices appropriate for enterprise applications.Require solid understanding of core finance and operations processes such as general accounting procure to pay order to cash and inventory management as implemented in Dynamics 365.Require excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate effectively with business process owners technical teams and external partners in a hybrid working setup.Require experience coordinating test planning issue triage and deployment activities to ensure stable and secure releases into production environments.Nice to have exposure to integration design involving Dynamics 365 with enterprise resource planning reporting platforms or external financial systems using standard connectors or services.Nice to have familiarity with Azure services Power Platform components or related Microsoft cloud technologies that complement Dynamics 365 implementations.Nice to have experience mentoring junior consultants and team members in project delivery disciplines and Dynamics 365 configuration practices to uplift overall team capability.
