We are currently seeking an experienced SmartCOMM Technical Business Analyst to help shape, design, and deliver customer communication solutions within a complex enterprise environment.
This role provides the opportunity to work closely with business stakeholders, delivery teams, and technology partners to drive Customer Communications Management (CCM) initiatives, including legacy template migration, digital forms transformation, and omnichannel communication strategies.
You will play a key role in bridging business and technical teams, translating requirements into scalable SmartCOMM solutions while ensuring best practices, governance standards, and quality outcomes are maintained throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and refine requirements for SmartCOMM initiatives and customer communication programs.
• Lead and support the design, configuration, and implementation of SmartCOMM solutions aligned to business and regulatory requirements.
• Drive form design, template migration, and digital communication transformation activities within the CCM ecosystem.
• Collaborate with development, integration, and architecture teams to ensure seamless connectivity with platforms such as Guidewire, MuleSoft, and AWS services.
• Provide functional expertise across SmartCOMM capabilities including Advanced Template Designer (ATD), Data Modeler, Draft Editor, Interactive Forms, Approval Workflows, and Data Workflows.
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, technical designs, and implementation approaches.
• Conduct solution reviews, requirement validation sessions, and quality assurance activities to ensure adherence to design standards and business objectives.
• Support testing activities, including regression testing, defect triage, and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle.
• Create and maintain project documentation including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Specification Documents (FSDs), and solution design artefacts.
• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and knowledge-sharing sessions across business and technical teams.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, reusable, and aligned with enterprise architecture and governance standards.
• Work closely with project managers and delivery teams to ensure successful, on-time delivery of SmartCOMM solutions.
• Stay current with SmartCOMM capabilities, CCM trends, and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Skills & Experience
• Strong experience in Customer Communications Management (CCM) environments.
• Extensive experience as a Technical Business Analyst with a strong focus on SmartCOMM implementations.
• Proven hands-on experience migrating legacy forms and templates to SmartCOMM platforms.
• Strong understanding of SmartCOMM architecture, solution design, template development, and implementation lifecycle.
• Experience delivering digital forms, customer correspondence, and omnichannel communication solutions.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
• Strong knowledge of SmartCOMM components including Advanced Template Designer (ATD), Data Modeler, Draft Editor, Interactive Forms, and Workflow capabilities.
• Exposure to AWS services including IAM, S3, MQ, and supporting DevOps tooling such as Jenkins pipelines.
• Understanding of Guidewire platforms including PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter.
• Experience working with integration platforms such as MuleSoft and REST-based APIs.
• Knowledge of XML, XSD, XSL-FO, and structured document generation technologies.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java/J2EE, and Python.
• Strong understanding of API integration concepts and enterprise application architecture.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments and large-scale transformation programs.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation, and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
