Job Summary

Serve as a lead quality engineer within a hybrid work model designing and implementing advanced automation strategies across web and API platforms using JavaScript Docker and modern CI tooling. Apply strong finance and accounting domain expertise to assure regulatory compliant solutions reduce production defects enhance customer trust and drive measurable quality improvements for global enterprise applications.


Responsibilities

  • Lead end to end quality engineering activities for complex finance and accounting applications to ensure reliable and compliant product releases that protect customer trust and business reputation.
  • Design scalable automation frameworks using JavaScript and modular patterns so test assets remain maintainable and reusable across multiple financial product lines and release cycles.
  • Build and optimize continuous testing pipelines with Jenkins to enable rapid and stable validation for every code change and configuration update across environments.
  • Configure and manage Gitlab pipelines for automated build verification test execution and reporting so defects are surfaced early and accurately to engineering teams.
  • Create and maintain containerized test environments using Docker to provide consistent test conditions and faster environment provisioning for comprehensive functional coverage.
  • Develop robust browser automation suites using Playwright to validate complex financial workflows data validations and user journeys across multiple browser types.
  • Implement reliable API test suites using RestAssured to verify financial service integrations reconciliation flows and data integrity across internal and external systems.
  • Apply finance and accounting domain knowledge to design relevant test scenarios for ledger postings reconciliations reporting and regulatory compliance so business risks are minimized.
  • Use GitHub Copilot responsibly to accelerate automation script authoring while maintaining strict coding standards readability and audit friendly test assets.
  • Analyze test results production incidents and quality metrics to identify process gaps and recommend improvements that increase automation effectiveness and reduce defect leakage.
  • Collaborate closely with developers business analysts and product stakeholders in a hybrid work setting to clarify requirements refine acceptance criteria and prevent defects before implementation.
  • Prepare clear test strategies execution plans and status reports that align with release milestones so all partners have transparent insight into quality health and risk posture.
  • Guide peers on best practices in version control branching strategies and code review workflows using Gitlab and related tools so automation assets remain stable and secure.

  • Qualifications

  • Demonstrate extensive hands on experience with Jenkins driven continuous integration and continuous testing to support frequent and reliable releases for enterprise grade systems.
  • Exhibit strong proficiency in GitHub Copilot usage combined with sound engineering judgment to create efficient secure and maintainable automation code bases.
  • Show deep expertise with Docker for building consistent and isolated test environments that streamline execution of UI and API regression suites.
  • Display advanced working knowledge of Gitlab for version control pipeline orchestration and collaborative code review practices across distributed teams.
  • Command expert level skills in Playwright and JavaScript for building resilient end to end test suites that cover rich financial user experiences and edge case scenarios.
  • Apply strong RestAssured proficiency to validate complex API interactions error handling behaviors and contract adherence in finance and accounting platforms.
  • Bring proven finance and accounting domain experience that enables meaningful validation of journal entries reporting structures and compliance rules within quality engineering activities.
  • Utilize solid understanding of hybrid work practices including remote collaboration and on site coordination to maintain productivity communication and delivery predictability.
  • Employ excellent communication and documentation abilities to express test strategies findings and recommendations to technical and nontechnical partners in a concise manner.
  • Show experience working within day shift schedules for global programs while coordinating seamlessly with cross region stakeholders using asynchronous collaboration methods.
  • Demonstrate a consistent record of designing metrics driven quality approaches that translate automation and test coverage data into actionable insights for product improvement.
  • Exhibit strong problem solving and analytical thinking capabilities to isolate root causes propose pragmatic fixes and validate resolutions across full financial transaction flows.

  • Certifications Required

    Certified Jenkins Engineer or equivalent DevOps certification plus any recognized test automation or finance domain certification.
