Job Summary

This hybrid Functional Lead role focuses on configuring and optimizing SAP CS (Customer Service) capabilities across onsite service inhouse service mobile asset management service processing and service contracts while applying cheminformatics and bioinformatics domain expertise. The role supports day shift operations enables efficient service execution and drives measurable value creation for clients and society.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze service-related processes in onsite service inhouse service and mobile asset management translating operational needs into SAP CS functional designs that improve efficiency and reliability for global life sciences operations.
  • Configure SAP CS service processing scenarios to support end to end service orders notifications resource planning and confirmations ensuring that workflows align with industry regulations and internal quality standards within chemical and biological research environments.
  • Design and maintain SAP CS service contract configurations to support warranty management maintenance agreements and long term service offerings enabling transparent billing and predictable service outcomes for clients in scientific and industrial settings.
  • Coordinate integration between SAP CS and related modules such as Plant Maintenance Materials Management and Controlling to ensure consistent data flow for spare parts service costs and asset histories across hybrid working arrangements.
  • Develop detailed functional specifications for enhancements reports forms and interfaces involving SAP CS onsite service and inhouse service partnering with technical teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions that support research and development operations.
  • Perform system testing integration testing and user acceptance support for SAP CS configurations ensuring that service processes function accurately and reliably for organizations working with complex chemical and biological assets.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for incidents and defects in SAP CS processes recommending corrective and preventive actions that reduce downtime and safeguard critical laboratory equipment used in cheminformatics and bioinformatics workflows.
  • Guide business users through day to day issue resolution process clarifications and best practice adoption for SAP CS usage promoting consistent service execution and data quality across hybrid teams operating in day shifts.
  • Prepare and deliver training materials demonstrations and knowledge transfer sessions on SAP CS capabilities empowering service coordinators planners and analysts to operate the system effectively without constant external support.
  • Analyze service performance metrics and master data quality within SAP CS to propose continuous improvement opportunities that enhance asset uptime resource utilization and customer satisfaction within scientific service organizations.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance and compliance teams to align SAP CS processes with laboratory standards safety requirements and documentation practices common in cheminformatics and bioinformatics intensive environments.
  • Support release management activities by validating configuration changes assessing impacts on existing service processes and ensuring that deployments occur smoothly for hybrid teams using the system during day shift schedules.
  • Document functional designs process flows and configuration rationales for SAP CS components maintaining clear and reusable documentation that supports future enhancements and onboarding of new team members.

Qualifications

  • Apply practical experience in SAP CS onsite service inhouse service mobile asset management service processing and service contracts to design solutions that fit service operations with three to seven years of overall professional experience.
  • Leverage domain understanding in cheminformatics to align SAP CS configurations with data intensive experiments chemical library management and instrument service requirements within research and development environments.
  • Utilize bioinformatics knowledge to support service processes around computational platforms high throughput equipment and specialized laboratory assets used in genomic and proteomic analysis.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving abilities to interpret complex service scenarios identify gaps and propose feasible SAP CS configurations that are practical for day shift hybrid work models.
  • Communicate clearly with cross functional teams to translate technical SAP CS concepts into accessible language for service planners laboratory managers and operations personnel.
  • Exhibit familiarity with standard IT service management practices incident handling and change control procedures to ensure stable and predictable SAP CS operations.
  • Show adaptability to work in hybrid setups by using collaboration tools documenting work thoroughly and maintaining availability for remote and onsite interactions during designated day shifts.
