About the role
As a Boomi Integration Architect, you will make an impact by designing, optimizing, and modernizing secure enterprise integration solutions using Dell Boomi AtomSphere. You will enable reliable, scalable data exchange across critical systems through HTTPS, JSON, REST APIs, XML, and XSLT. You will be a valued member of the Integration Architecture team and work collaboratively with product owners, business analysts, testing teams, finance and accounting stakeholders, high technology teams, and cross-functional technical partners.
In this role, you will:
Design secure, scalable Dell Boomi AtomSphere integration architectures that enable reliable data exchange across enterprise systems and support performance, availability, and business continuity goals.
Develop and optimize integration flows using JSON, REST API, HTTPS, XML, and XSLT, including complex transformations, authentication patterns, error handling, logging, mappings, connectors, and schedules.
Define reusable integration patterns, standards, documentation, and governance practices that streamline application onboarding, reduce maintenance, and support consistent knowledge transfer.
Partner with product owners, business analysts, testing teams, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs, define end-to-end test cases, assess change impacts, and guide production deployments.
Support incident resolution and continuous improvement by analyzing integration failures, identifying downstream risks, recommending corrective actions, and implementing durable fixes that improve reliability.
What you need to have to be considered
8+ years of experience designing and implementing enterprise integration solutions using Dell Boomi AtomSphere in complex environments.
Strong hands-on expertise with JSON, REST APIs, HTTPS, authentication mechanisms, payload design, error handling, and secure data exchange practices.
Proven experience with XML and XSLT for data transformation, schema validation, and integration across legacy and modern systems.
Ability to translate functional requirements into integration designs that address business outcomes, operational constraints, performance needs, and scalability objectives.
Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and nontechnical audiences in distributed or hybrid work environments.
These will help you stand out
Dell Boomi Professional Developer certification or equivalent integration platform certification.
Practical understanding of finance and accounting processes such as invoicing, reconciliation, reporting, and related data considerations.
Exposure to high technology domains, digital platforms, cloud services, and near real-time integration requirements.
Experience advising stakeholders on integration feasibility, tradeoffs, delivery timelines, technical risk, and cost considerations.
Demonstrated ability to guide peers on Dell Boomi best practices, including reusable components, modular design, and standardized integration approaches.
