Senior LangGraph Developer
About the role
As a Senior LangGraph Developer, you will make an impact by designing and delivering advanced agentic AI solutions that enable intelligent automation, orchestration, and decision-making at scale. You will be a valued member of the AI Engineering team and work collaboratively with AI researchers, architects, product teams, and engineering stakeholders to develop production-grade multi-agent systems powered by large language models (LLMs).
In this role, you will:
- Design and implement advanced LangGraph workflows with sophisticated orchestration, branching logic, memory management, and state handling.
- Develop scalable and resilient multi-agent systems that can reason, collaborate, and adapt to complex business requirements.
- Integrate LangGraph-based applications with LLM platforms, enterprise systems, APIs, databases, and other external services.
- Optimize the performance, reliability, and scalability of agentic AI solutions in production environments.
- Provide technical leadership, mentor development teams, and establish best practices for agentic AI and LangGraph implementation.

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days per week in a Cognizant or client office in Dallas, TX, with Charlotte, NC as a secondary location option. What you need to have to be considered
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with a strong background in designing and delivering enterprise-scale applications.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience developing solutions using LangGraph, agentic frameworks, or similar AI orchestration technologies.
- Expert-level proficiency in Python, including asynchronous programming and distributed application development.
- Deep understanding of LLM orchestration, state management, memory architectures, and agent design patterns.
- Experience with LangChain, OpenAI, Anthropic, or other leading generative AI platforms.
- Proven track record building production-ready agentic AI systems with strong reliability, scalability, and fault tolerance.
- Experience evaluating AI solutions using frameworks and metrics related to RAG, agent performance, and batch-processing workloads.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value.

- Experience designing and deploying enterprise-grade Agentic AI platforms and intelligent automation solutions.
- Knowledge of workflow visualization, debugging techniques, and LangGraph Studio.
- Experience leading technical teams and mentoring engineers in AI and software development best practices.
- Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and modern AI deployment patterns.
- Experience collaborating with research, product, and business stakeholders to bring innovative AI capabilities to production.
- Knowledge of emerging trends and best practices in autonomous agents, multi-agent systems, and enterprise AI governance.
