As a Facets .NET Developer, you will make an impact by designing, developing, and supporting healthcare solutions that leverage the Facets platform and Microsoft technologies. You will be a valued member of the technology team and work collaboratively with business analysts, developers, quality engineers, DevOps teams, and key stakeholders to deliver high-quality healthcare applications. In this role, you will:
Design, develop, and maintain applications supporting healthcare and Facets-related business processes.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions using Facets, .NET, C#, and SQL Server.
Develop and enhance solutions using ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, and multi-tier architecture principles.
Support the Facets Claims Module and related data models to ensure effective claims processing and system performance.
Perform unit testing, debugging, code reviews, and application troubleshooting to maintain high-quality deliverables.
Manage source code repositories, version control processes, and application deployments across environments.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and streamline software delivery processes.
Participate actively in team discussions, status meetings, and cross-functional collaboration efforts while providing clear technical communication.

What you need to have to be considered
Experience within the healthcare industry, including Facets implementation or support projects.
Strong experience with the Facets Claims Module and Facets data models.
Hands-on development experience with ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, C#, SQL Server, and multi-tier application architecture.
Proficiency in the .NET Framework and related Microsoft development technologies.
Experience across the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation.
Experience with source code management, version control systems, and code deployment activities.
Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD processes, and deployment automation concepts.
Experience using development tools and IDEs such as Microsoft Visual Studio.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
These will help you stand out
Experience working in Agile development environments.
Familiarity with healthcare payer business processes and claims adjudication workflows.
Knowledge of cloud-based development and deployment practices.
Experience supporting application modernization initiatives.
Ability to mentor team members and contribute to technical best practices.
Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $82K - $90K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
