About the role
As a Client Relationship Manager, you will make an impact by owning and expanding strategic accounts within the UK Central Government space, driving revenue growth and delivering high-value digital transformation solutions. You will work collaboratively with delivery leaders, consulting teams, and client stakeholders to maximise account performance and client satisfaction.
In this role, you will:
· Own and grow a portfolio of Central Government accounts, with full responsibility for commercial performance
· Identify, shape, and close new business and expansion opportunities within existing client engagements
· Lead account strategy, including revenue growth, margin optimisation, and long-term planning
· Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure successful execution and client satisfaction
· Build strong client relationships and deliver a positive client experience
Work model
This is a hybrid position requiring time each week in a client or Cognizant office in the United Kingdom. We strive to provide flexibility wherever possible and support a healthy work-life balance through wellbeing programmes.
What you need to have to be considered
· Experience managing and expanding Central Government or Public Sector accounts
· Understanding of UK Public Sector procurement frameworks such as DOS and G-Cloud
· Experience in a quota-bearing sales or account leadership role with consistent target achievement
· Track record selling technology and consulting services (Data & AI, Cloud, Digital Engineering, etc.)
· Experience negotiating and closing large, complex deals

· Experience within global consulting organisations and leading distributed teams
· Strong commercial acumen with P&L responsibility
· Ability to influence senior stakeholders
· Understanding of digital transformation in government
· Experience working in complex, matrixed environments
