Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Developer with 3 to 5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SQL Azure DevOps and .Net Core along with domain knowledge in Bioinformatics. This is a work-from-office role with a day shift schedule and no travel is required. The candidate will contribute to impactful projects that advance our mission in the Bioinformatics domain.
Responsibilities
- Develop test and maintain high-quality software solutions using .Net Core to meet project requirements and timelines.
- Design and optimize SQL queries and databases to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval for Bioinformatics applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Utilize Azure DevOps for continuous integration and deployment ensuring smooth and efficient software delivery pipelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance of applications.
- Implement best practices in coding testing and documentation to maintain high standards of software quality.
- Contribute to the development of Bioinformatics tools and platforms enabling advancements in research and data analysis.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Bioinformatics and software development to enhance project outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations particularly in handling sensitive Bioinformatics data.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver solutions that align with organizational objectives.
- Document technical specifications user guides and other relevant materials to support ongoing maintenance and user adoption.
Qualifications
- Demonstrate proficiency in .Net Core showcasing the ability to build scalable and efficient applications.
- Exhibit strong expertise in SQL including query optimization and database management.
- Possess hands-on experience with Azure DevOps ensuring seamless integration and deployment processes.
- Showcase a solid understanding of Bioinformatics concepts and their application in software development.
- Have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues effectively.
- Display strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
Certifications Required
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate Certified Bioinformatics Specialist
