About the role

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Embedded Software Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in Value OS development, contributing to platform features and enhancements forming the foundation of our embedded systems architecture. You will implement critical security features on Cortex-M microcontrollers and collaborate with our connectivity team to integrate communication protocols across our product ecosystem.

What you will do

• Lead firmware architecture design and implementation for Value OS platform.

• Design and implement security features on ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers utilizing Memory Protection Unit hardware.

• Collaborate with the connectivity team to integrate wireless and wired communication protocols.

• Contribute actively to the Zephyr Real-Time Operating System open source project.

• Develop and maintain Safety Controller firmware implementing functional safety requirements.

• Write robust embedded software in C/C++ for resource-constrained microcontroller environments.

• Develop tooling and automation scripts using Python to streamline firmware build processes.

• Mentor junior firmware engineers in embedded development best practices.

To make this happen you need to have

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Embedded Software Development.

• Comprehensive expertise in embedded systems programming including firmware architecture and RTOS integration.

• Proficiency in Zephyr RTOS development including kernel configuration and device tree management.

• Advanced programming skills in C and C++ for embedded systems.

• Strong expertise in Rust programming language for systems-level development.

• Experience with Dart/Flutter framework for embedded UI development (asset).

• Solid proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and testing.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electronic Engineering, or comparable experience.
