Job Summary
This role is for a Solution Architect with deep expertise in ServiceNow platforms who will design scalable enterprise solutions while working in a hybrid model. The role requires 18 to 20 years of experience in cloud and platform architecture with a focus on Now Platform implementation strategic solution design and aligning technical roadmaps with business outcomes across global environments.
Responsibilities
- Drive end to end architecture for ServiceNow based solutions that align platform capabilities with strategic business objectives and long term technology roadmaps
- Design scalable secure and resilient cloud architectures on the Now Platform that support complex workflows integrations and enterprise service management needs
- Coordinate with cross functional teams to translate business requirements into detailed ServiceNow solution designs and implementation blueprints
- Guide the definition of reusable ServiceNow architecture patterns and reference implementations that can be applied across multiple business domains and regions
- Review solution proposals and technical designs to ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards security guidelines and regulatory constraints
- Collaborate with product owners and process owners to prioritize platform capabilities and ensure that solution designs maximize value and user adoption
- Optimize existing ServiceNow implementations by assessing technical debt performance bottlenecks and configuration issues and defining remediation strategies
- Drive integration strategies between ServiceNow and external systems using APIs integration tools and data pipelines to ensure consistent and reliable data exchange
- Provide architectural governance by participating in design reviews change advisory processes and architecture boards ensuring alignment with cloud and platform principles
- Mentor engineering and configuration teams on ServiceNow architecture best practices including configuration management scripting data models and workflow design
- Develop comprehensive documentation including architecture diagrams data flows integration specifications and operational guidelines to support ongoing platform operations
- Engage with stakeholders to communicate architectural decisions explain tradeoffs and demonstrate how ServiceNow solutions contribute to organizational goals and customer impact
- Align ServiceNow solution design with sustainability accessibility and inclusive design principles so that technology outcomes support broader societal and organizational values
Qualifications
- Require extensive experience in ServiceNow Now Platform including modules such as IT service management IT operations management and enterprise service management with proven delivery of complex implementations
- Require strong background in solution design and architecture for large scale cloud platforms including definition of integration strategies data models and security architectures
- Require solid experience applying strategic thinking to technology decisions including roadmap development platform consolidation and optimization of total cost of ownership
- Require prior hands on exposure to configuration and customization of ServiceNow components including workflows scripting forms and service portals to ensure practical and implementable designs
- Require proven experience working in hybrid work models collaborating with distributed teams and using modern agile delivery practices and tools
- Prefer familiarity with complementary cloud platforms such as major public cloud providers to design holistic architectures that blend ServiceNow capabilities with broader cloud services
- Prefer experience defining and implementing governance frameworks for platforms including standards for configuration management change control and environment strategy
- Prefer exposure to observability monitoring and performance tuning in ServiceNow environments to ensure reliable and highly available services for enterprise users
- Prefer experience guiding teams through platform upgrades migration projects and greenfield deployments while minimizing disruption and ensuring backward compatibility
- Prefer strong communication and documentation skills to articulate complex architectural concepts to technical and non technical audiences in clear and concise language
Certifications Required
ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect or ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist or equivalent advanced ServiceNow certification
