Job Summary : This hybrid day shift role is for a Lead Quality Engineer with eight to twelve years of experience responsible for driving robust test automation and quality practices across web and API solutions using Playwright RestAssured and JavaScript. The role focuses on enabling reliable releases guiding quality strategy and collaborating with cross functional teams with added advantage for industrial manufacturing domain exposure and no travel requirement. 3. Responsibilities : -Drive end to end quality strategy for complex web and API solutions using Playwright RestAssured and JavaScript to ensure reliable and repeatable delivery of high performing features that align with business outcomes and user expectations. -Design comprehensive test automation frameworks using Playwright for user interface flows and RestAssured for service validations to maximize test coverage maintainability and execution speed in a hybrid work environment. -Implement deeply detailed functional regression and integration test suites that validate core product behaviors and prevent critical defects from reaching production while supporting continuous integration pipelines. -Optimize existing test automation assets and scripts by refactoring modularizing and enhancing validations to reduce flakiness improve runtime efficiency and provide clear diagnostic information for engineering partners. -Collaborate closely with product management engineering and operations teams to refine acceptance criteria clarify edge cases and translate requirements into test conditions that safeguard industrial manufacturing related workflows where applicable. -Establish rigorous quality gates and defect management practices that track issues from discovery to closure and provide transparent reporting on release readiness and risk to stakeholders. -Guide continuous improvement of quality metrics by defining quantitative measures monitoring trends and recommending data backed actions that enhance stability performance and user confidence in released solutions. -Coordinate test planning and execution activities across hybrid team members to ensure consistent standards effective communication and timely completion of test cycles within scheduled day shifts. -Review peer test cases automation scripts and defect reports to maintain high standards of clarity accuracy and adherence to agreed coding and documentation guidelines. -Mentor team members on test automation techniques with Playwright RestAssured and JavaScript so that collective capability grows and complex scenarios in both web and API layers are validated thoroughly. -Align quality engineering practices with industrial manufacturing domain needs when relevant by considering traceability reliability and compliance expectations in test design and validation approaches. -Contribute to incident analysis and root cause reviews by providing clear reproduction steps log insights and test evidence that supports rapid resolution and long term prevention of recurring issues. -Advance continuous testing adoption by integrating automated suites into pipelines stabilizing environments and advocating for early and frequent validation within development lifecycles. -Qualifications -Demonstrate strong hands on expertise in Playwright for browser based automation including creation of maintainable test suites that cover complex user journeys and dynamic content behaviors. -Apply solid experience with RestAssured in validating RESTful services including request response handling assertions on payloads and systematic coverage of positive and negative scenarios. -Use advanced JavaScript skills to implement reusable test utilities page objects and helper modules that improve automation reliability and readability across web and API layers. -Bring practical knowledge of quality engineering concepts including test design risk based coverage defect life cycle management and integration of automated checks into build and deployment workflows. -Offer beneficial understanding of industrial manufacturing business processes such as production flows asset tracking and operational safety which helps shape realistic and value driven test scenarios. -Operate effectively in a hybrid work model by maintaining proactive communication strong documentation habits and reliable collaboration with geographically distributed team members during day shifts. -Showcase proven experience of eight to twelve years in quality engineering roles that highlights progressively complex automation responsibilities and successful contribution to enterprise grade product releases. 9.
