About the Role

PlanetTogether Solutions Engineer is a mid-level consulting position focused on supporting the implementation of PlanetTogether’s Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS) solutions for manufacturing clients. In this role, you will work closely with Solution Architects and customer teams to translate business processes into system configurations, support data integration efforts, and drive successful project execution from design through UAT and go‑live.

This position is ideal for a technically strong professional with supply chain or manufacturing expertise who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-project SaaS environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Support end-to-end implementation of PlanetTogether APS for manufacturing clients, including configuration, testing, and deployment
  • Assist implementation teams with data integration, system configuration, and validation across ERP and MES ecosystems (e.g., SAP, Kinaxis)
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including planning, execution, defect triage, and closure
  • Develop deep expertise in PlanetTogether APS functionality, optimization logic, and manufacturing planning use cases
  • Serve as a troubleshooting and product support specialist during implementation and post–go-live phases

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or a related field
  • 5–8 years of experience with PlanetTogether technology, SaaS platforms, or supply chain software
  • Experience supporting or managing complex technology or system integration projects
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into system requirements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with confidence engaging clients and internal stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with APS or production planning tools (e.g., PlanetTogether, Siemens Opcenter/Preactor, Ortems, Optessa, Asprova)
  • Working knowledge of SQL or relational databases for data validation and analysis
  • Exposure to manufacturing sectors such as life sciences, discrete manufacturing, or industrial equipment
  • Familiarity with ERP integrations (SAP, Kinaxis)

Salary & Compensation

  • Applications accepted until 05/16/2026
  • Annual salary range: $112,000–$130,000, depending on experience and qualifications
  • Eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and applicable plan terms
