Job Summary

This role involves designing and implementing strategic data architecture solutions leading data migration initiatives and leveraging AWS services to optimize business processes. The Principal Architect will collaborate across teams to ensure seamless integration and transformation of data while driving innovation in the Engineering Construction and Energy Trading domains.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable data architecture solutions to meet organizational goals and objectives.
  • Oversee data migration processes ensuring accuracy efficiency and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Develop and optimize data transformation scripts to facilitate seamless integration and processing of complex datasets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data architecture strategies with business requirements and industry standards.
  • Provide expertise in AWS services to enhance data storage processing and analytics capabilities.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of existing data systems and recommend improvements to enhance performance and reliability.
  • Drive innovation by identifying opportunities to leverage emerging technologies in data architecture and cloud services.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance policies and security protocols to safeguard sensitive information.
  • Mentor and guide team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Partner with stakeholders in the Engineering Construction and Energy Trading domains to understand specific data requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions making adjustments as needed to achieve optimal results.
  • Prepare detailed documentation and reports to communicate progress challenges and outcomes to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to maintain a competitive edge in data architecture practices.


Qualifications

  • Demonstrate expertise in strategic leadership showcasing the ability to align data architecture initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Exhibit proficiency in data migration processes ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruptions.
  • Possess advanced skills in data transformation scripting languages to handle complex data processing tasks.
  • Showcase a strong background in data architecture with a focus on designing scalable and efficient systems.
  • Display hands-on experience with AWS services utilizing cloud-based solutions for data storage and analytics.
  • Have domain knowledge in Engineering and Construction enabling tailored solutions for industry-specific challenges.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with Energy Trading contributing to the optimization of data processes within this domain.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
  • Show adaptability to day shifts and a commitment to delivering high-quality results without requiring travel.
  • Maintain a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation in data architecture practices.
  • Demonstrate the ability to mentor and guide team members fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
  • Possess strong analytical skills to evaluate existing systems and recommend improvements for enhanced performance.
