Product Manager – SAP Fieldglass (Remote)
Role Summary
The Internal Product Consultant will play a key role within Cognizant’s Extended Workforce Solutions team, supporting the strategy, development, and optimization of our clients’ contingent workforce technology ecosystems. This role focuses on SAP Fieldglass and a suite of integrated first‑party (1P) tools, ensuring the Vendor Management System (VMS) stack is scalable, efficient, and aligned with evolving business needs.
You will serve as the primary liaison between Cognizant business stakeholders, Managed Service Providers (MSPs), and technical delivery partners. This position requires strong product ownership, analytical rigor, and the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable product enhancements for Cognizant and its clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Development & Evolution: Lead the end‑to‑end product lifecycle for SAP Fieldglass and related 1P tools, including requirements gathering, prioritization, and roadmap planning.
- Stakeholder Partnership: Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and central point of contact between Cognizant xWS teams, MSPs, and engineering partners to ensure alignment and seamless delivery.
- Quality Assurance & Testing: Design and execute testing strategies, including UAT, pilot programs, and evidence collection. Identify, document, and escalate bugs; collaborate with developers to drive timely resolution.
- Proactive Issue Management: Monitor the VMS tool stack to identify systemic issues, lead escalations, and drive root‑cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
- Continuous Improvement: Recommend enhancements based on data insights, user feedback, and business needs to ensure the VMS ecosystem remains robust and scalable for Cognizant and its clients.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience managing the product development lifecycle from requirements gathering through implementation.
- Experience in software testing, UAT, or pilot program management.
- Ability to travel 20–30% as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Analytical Expertise: Ability to analyze complex datasets to identify trends, justify feature requests, and measure deployment success.
- Vendor & Partner Management: Experience managing MSPs and external consulting partners.
- Technical Fluency: Understanding of how 1P tools integrate with third‑party SaaS platforms via APIs or middleware.
- Proactive Problem‑Solving: Ability to identify issues early, escalate appropriately, and drive resolution.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders and vice versa.
- Domain Knowledge: Direct experience with SAP Fieldglass or similar Vendor Management Systems (VMS).
Salary and Other Compensation:
The salary for this position is between $140,000 - $164,000k depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
