Job Summary
This hybrid Infra Technology Specialist role focuses on managing and enhancing endpoint infrastructure using desktop and device management platforms. The position involves designing implementing and maintaining enterprise grade solutions for system configuration operating system deployment and device security across a rotational shift model. The specialist ensures stable secure and efficient workplace technology that directly supports business continuity and user productivity.
Responsibilities
Manage large scale desktop environments by configuring and optimizing system management tools to ensure consistent performance and reliable user experiences across all supported locations.Coordinate and execute endpoint lifecycle activities including deployment upgrade and retirement of devices while maintaining accurate records in configuration databases and asset repositories.Design and maintain standardized operating system images using enterprise imaging tools to ensure secure stable and compliant workstation builds for varied business requirements.Implement and refine automation workflows for patch distribution software installation and configuration changes to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency across the environment.Monitor endpoint health and compliance dashboards to identify issues proactively and drive timely remediation actions that support business uptime and reduce incident frequency.Develop and maintain configuration baselines for devices to enforce security policies and operational standards while aligning with organizational guidelines and regulatory expectations.Collaborate with security and application teams to package test and deploy business critical software ensuring compatibility performance and safe rollout to user groups.Provide advanced technical support for complex endpoint incidents and requests by analyzing root causes and documenting repeatable solutions that enhance service quality.Coordinate with infrastructure and network teams to resolve dependencies related to device connectivity authentication and access services ensuring consistent endpoint operations.Create and maintain detailed procedural documentation and operational runbooks for desktop and device management processes to support knowledge sharing within the support organization.Analyze performance metrics and service reports from endpoint platforms to identify optimization opportunities and contribute recommendations for continuous improvement initiatives.Support rotational shift operations by ensuring handover notes incident updates and change records are clear and complete to maintain continuity of service across time zones.Engage with internal stakeholders to understand endpoint needs and translate them into practical configuration solutions that help individuals work efficiently and securely.
Qualifications
Apply extensive experience with desktop management platforms to manage enterprise clients including expertise in configuration management features and patching capabilities.Utilize strong skills in device management technologies to administer policies profiles and compliance settings for diverse form factors in a modern workplace context.Demonstrate practical knowledge of operating system imaging solutions by creating and maintaining task sequences reference images and deployment workflows for organizational use.Exhibit advanced proficiency in client operating systems through troubleshooting performance reliability and compatibility issues while maintaining alignment with corporate standards.Leverage familiarity with hybrid work models and rotational shift practices to coordinate support activities and ensure coverage without impacting service commitments.Employ effective communication and documentation abilities to collaborate with technical peers and present clear instructions to non technical users in support scenarios.Showcase understanding of endpoint security concepts such as configuration hardening access control and update management to support secure device operations in an enterprise setting.
Certifications Required
Preferred certifications include Microsoft Certified Endpoint Administrator Associate or equivalent endpoint management certification.
