Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with deep expertise in S/4HANA Financial Transformation across both B2B and B2C business models. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of delivering end-to-end finance transformation programmes, modernising legacy ERP landscapes, and driving process standardisation across complex, multi-entity organisations.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Transformation & Implementation

● Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA FICO implementation and transformation projects covering both B2B and B2C business models.

● Drive financial process redesign and standardisation as part of SAP S/4HANA migration from ECC or legacy ERP systems.

● Conduct fit-gap analysis, blueprint workshops, and solution design sessions with business and finance stakeholders.

● Configure and implement core FICO modules: General Ledger (New GL), Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cost Centre Accounting, Profit Centre Accounting, and Internal Orders.

● Support Universal Journal (ACDOCA) adoption and simplification of financial close processes in S/4HANA.

B2B & B2C Specific Finance Processes

● Design and implement order-to-cash (O2C) processes for B2C high-volume transaction scenarios including billing, revenue recognition, and collections.

● Configure procure-to-pay (P2P) and intercompany accounting processes for B2B enterprise scenarios.

● Implement SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR / IFRS 15) for complex B2B/B2C contract-based revenue models.

● Configure credit management, dunning, and dispute management for both B2B enterprise clients and B2C consumer portfolios.

● Support integration of SAP S/4HANA with e-commerce, CRM, and digital payment platforms common in B2C environments.

Controlling & Management Accounting

● Design and configure product costing, material ledger, and actual costing in S/4HANA for manufacturing and service-oriented businesses.

● Implement profitability analysis (CO-PA) — both account-based and costing-based — to support B2B and B2C segment reporting.

● Configure overhead cost controlling, activity-based costing, and internal order management.

● Support management reporting and financial consolidation requirements using SAP S/4HANA and Group Reporting.

Integration & Technical Collaboration

● Collaborate with SD, MM, PP, and PS module teams to ensure seamless FI-CO integration across end-to-end business processes.

● Work with BTP, SAP Integration Suite, and middleware teams for financial data integration with third-party and digital commerce platforms.

● Partner with technical teams on RICEFW development, custom reports, and BADIs/enhancements for finance processes.

● Support data migration activities including legacy financial data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and loading using LSMW or S/4HANA migration cockpit.

Required Skills & Experience

Mandatory Requirements

● 6+ years of SAP FICO experience with a minimum of 2 full-cycle S/4HANA implementations.

● Proven experience in financial transformation projects covering B2B enterprise and/or B2C consumer-facing business models.

● Strong hands-on expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance modules: New GL, AP, AR, AA, CCA, PCA, CO-PA.

● Experience with Universal Journal, Central Finance, and S/4HANA simplified financial architecture.

● Strong understanding of financial accounting standards: IFRS, GAAP, and country-specific localisation requirements.

● Experience in fit-gap analysis, business process design, configuration, testing (SIT/UAT), and go-live support.

● Excellent stakeholder management and ability to engage with CFOs, Finance Directors, and business process owners.

Preferred / Good to Have

● Experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud or RISE with SAP engagements.

● Knowledge of SAP Group Reporting / consolidation for multi-entity organisations.

● Exposure to SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) — IFRS 15 compliance.

● Experience with SAP BTP, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), or embedded analytics for finance reporting.

● Familiarity with Agile/hybrid delivery methodologies in SAP transformation programmes.

● SAP S/4HANA Finance certification (preferred).

● Experience integrating SAP FICO with Boomi, MuleSoft, or SAP Integration Suite.

Educational Qualifications

● Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Information Systems, or a related field.

● MBA in Finance or CA / CPA / ACCA qualification is an added advantage.

● SAP S/4HANA Finance or SAP Certified Application Associate certification preferred.
