About the role
As a Senior CyberArk Engineering Lead, you will drive impactful contributions by providing technical leadership, architecture, engineering, implementation, and operational oversight for enterprise Privileged Access Management (PAM) services. You will be a key member of the Identity Security organization, collaborating with IAM, Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure, Application Development, Security Operations, Compliance teams, and strategic technology partners.
You will have the autonomy to lead CyberArk engineering initiatives, define technical roadmaps, modernize PAM services, drive automation, strengthen privileged access governance, and mentor a team of CyberArk professionals while maintaining significant hands-on involvement in architecture, integrations, troubleshooting, and platform optimization. In this role, you will:
- Serve as the senior technical authority for CyberArk platforms, providing architecture leadership, engineering guidance, troubleshooting expertise, platform modernization, and cloud integration oversight.
- Lead the design, implementation, administration, maintenance, resilience, upgrades, patching, lifecycle management, and operational support of CyberArk PAM platforms across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments.
- Manage and mentor a team of CyberArk engineers while driving technical excellence, knowledge sharing, operational maturity, and delivery consistency.
- Design and implement integrations with Azure, AWS, GCP, Entra ID, cloud-native services, applications, containers, workloads, and enterprise platforms while ensuring secure onboarding of privileged identities.
- Drive automation, governance, compliance, reporting, audit readiness, platform optimization, and strategic PAM transformation initiatives across the enterprise.

What you must have to be considered
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related discipline.
- 9+ years of Information Security experience with at least 7+ years focused on CyberArk PAM engineering, architecture, and platform leadership.
- Proven experience leading CyberArk, Identity and Access Management (IAM), or security engineering teams.
- Extensive experience managing enterprise-scale CyberArk deployments, onboarding programs, cloud migrations, and PAM transformation initiatives.
- Deep expertise in CyberArk Core PAS, AAM, PTA, Conjur, Privilege Cloud (PCloud), CyberArk Identity Security Platform, Secrets Manager, and related CyberArk technologies.
- Strong experience integrating CyberArk with Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP, Entra ID, AWS IAM, GCP IAM, ServiceNow, enterprise applications, and cloud-native services.
- Expertise in privileged access governance, access certification, entitlement reviews, policy compliance, segregation of duties, audit readiness, and risk management practices.
- Strong scripting and automation experience using PowerShell, Python, REST APIs, Terraform, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, container security integrations, and modern cloud-native security architectures.
- Strong understanding of Active Directory, LDAP, MFA technologies, identity security principles, and privileged access management best practices.
- Understanding of security frameworks and regulatory standards including ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and SOX.

- CyberArk Certified Delivery Engineer (CDE) certification.
- CyberArk Certified Sentry (CCS) certification.
- CISSP or CISM certification.
- Experience defining enterprise PAM strategies, technology roadmaps, service modernization programs, and vendor engagement models.
- Expertise in custom CPM/PSM connector development, advanced automation, secrets management, and application identity security.
- Experience leading privileged access-related incident investigations, problem management activities, and remediation initiatives.
- Strong coaching, mentoring, stakeholder management, executive communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business outcomes and strategic recommendations.
- Experience delivering technical training programs and developing engineering talent.
- Continuous learning mindset with a passion for Identity Security, PAM innovation, cloud security, and operational excellence.
