About the Role

As a Business Systems Analyst, you will make an impact by analyzing business needs, defining requirements, and supporting solution delivery for a Pega-based application. You will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, and leadership teams to improve processes and ensure successful business outcomes.

In This Role, You Will

  • Analyze current and future-state business processes and identify improvement opportunities.

  • Gather, document, and refine business and system requirements with stakeholders and product owners.

  • Create and manage user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items.

  • Facilitate business discussions and support solution design involving APIs and system integrations.

  • Support UAT, defect resolution, and delivery of business and functional requirements documentation.

What You Need to Have to Be Considered

  • Experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Business Analyst.

  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and requirements-gathering skills.

  • Experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, BRDs, and FRDs.

  • Experience with Jira, backlog management, and Agile delivery practices.

  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills.

These Will Help You Stand Out

  • Experience supporting Pega-based applications.

  • Knowledge of the Pega Customer Service for Financial Services (CSFS) Framework.

  • Understanding of APIs, system integrations, and solution architecture concepts.

  • Experience with data analysis and business process optimization.

  • Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and defect management.

Salary and Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $129,500 - $152,000 depending on experience and qualifications.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to plan terms.
