About the role
As a Senior Test Automation Engineer, you will make an impact by leading test automation initiatives for mission-critical loan servicing applications. You will be a valued member of the Quality Engineering team and work collaboratively with product teams, software development leads, architects, business partners, and other stakeholders to improve software quality and accelerate delivery.
In this role, you will:
Develop and execute an enterprise test automation strategy aligned with software development, quality engineering, and business objectives.
Design and maintain scalable automation solutions for regression, smoke, sanity, API, mobile, and performance testing, ensuring appropriate test coverage, traceability, and reusability.
Establish automation success metrics, measure automation effectiveness and return on investment, and communicate results to management.
Define approaches for test-data management, stable automation environments, continuous integration and continuous delivery, and integration with DevOps tools.
Partner with cross-functional product, engineering, architecture, and business teams to prioritize automation, support in-sprint testing, estimate delivery efforts, and drive process improvements throughout the software development lifecycle.

What you need to have to be considered
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
6+ years of experience leading manual and automation testing programs for large, complex enterprise applications.
Four or more years of hands-on experience designing, developing, implementing, and executing automated test scripts.
Strong experience with Selenium-based automation frameworks and at least one programming language such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
Experience developing test strategies and plans across functional, regression, smoke, sanity, API, and automated testing.
Experience integrating automated tests into continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or Bamboo.
Hands-on experience with API testing, defect management, and version-control tools such as Postman, Jira, Azure DevOps, Git, or GitHub.
Ability to estimate testing efforts, communicate execution status, document software defects, and collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.
These will help you stand out
Experience with behavior-driven development, test-driven development, scriptless automation, or robotic automation frameworks.
Experience with Appium for mobile testing and JMeter for performance and load testing.
Working knowledge of Bash, PowerShell, Ruby, Bugzilla, or SVN.
Prior experience with Qualitia.
Experience supporting mortgage servicing, loan servicing, banking, or financial-services applications.
