Job Summary

Sr Developer will design build and optimize Salesforce and Service Cloud solutions for an MNC in a hybrid work model focusing on Apex development configuration and integration. The role involves translating complex business needs into scalable data driven solutions that enhance customer support efficiency improve user experience and deliver measurable value to global stakeholders.


Responsibilities

  • Design scalable Salesforce and Service Cloud components that align with business processes and deliver reliable outcomes for global stakeholders.
  • Develop robust Apex classes triggers and batch processes that ensure high performance maintainability and adherence to enterprise coding standards.
  • Configure Service Cloud features such as case management queues automation and knowledge to streamline customer support operations and reduce manual effort.
  • Implement secure integrations between Salesforce and external systems using APIs and middleware to ensure consistent and accurate data flow across platforms.
  • Optimize existing Salesforce customizations by refactoring code improving queries and tuning workflows to enhance system stability and response times.
  • Collaborate closely with product owners and business analysts to translate user stories into detailed technical designs and deliverables that are testable and measurable.
  • Create and maintain clear technical documentation that supports future enhancements onboarding of new team members and effective knowledge sharing.
  • Perform thorough unit testing and support system testing to detect defects early ensuring high quality releases and reduced production incidents.
  • Analyze data models within Salesforce to design efficient object relationships and field structures that support reporting and analytics needs.
  • Support incident resolution and production maintenance activities by investigating issues identifying root causes and implementing sustainable fixes.
  • Work effectively in a hybrid work model by participating in virtual ceremonies coordinating with distributed teams and ensuring consistent communication.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by proposing enhancements adopting best practices and leveraging new Salesforce platform features where appropriate.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies security standards and regulatory requirements while implementing Salesforce and Service Cloud solutions.


Qualifications

  • Possess professional experience of four to eight years in Salesforce development with a strong focus on Service Cloud implementations and customization.
  • Demonstrate hands on proficiency in Apex programming including classes triggers test methods and asynchronous processing tailored to complex business logic.
  • Exhibit solid understanding of Salesforce configuration such as page layouts record types flows validation rules and permission sets to support secure and flexible solutions.
  • Apply knowledge of data models and relational design within Salesforce to build scalable schemas that support reporting analytics and integration needs.
  • Utilize strong problem solving and debugging capabilities to analyze issues assess options and deliver clear resolutions within agreed timelines.
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non technical stakeholders to explain solution approaches constraints and impacts in a concise and respectful manner.
  • Adapt to hybrid work expectations by managing time independently coordinating with team members across locations and maintaining accountability for deliverables.


Certifications Required

Salesforce Certified Platform Developer One or Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant certification preferred.
