Job Summary

As a Sr. Product Engineer you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing advanced data solutions using GCP BigQuery and Matillion. Your expertise will drive the optimization of warehouse management systems and inventory management processes contributing to the efficiency and success of retail operations. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams during day shifts ensuring seamless integration and innovation.


Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable data solutions using GCP BigQuery to enhance data processing capabilities.
  • Implement ETL processes with Matillion to streamline data integration and transformation workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Optimize warehouse management systems to improve inventory tracking and management efficiency.
  • Analyze data trends and provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure data integrity and security by implementing best practices in data management.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to data processing and integration.
  • Conduct performance tuning and optimization of data queries to enhance system responsiveness.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers to foster skill development.
  • Develop documentation and training materials to support system users and stakeholders.
  • Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with the latest advancements in data engineering technologies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation.
  • Contribute to the companys mission by enhancing data-driven decision-making processes.


Qualifications

  • Possess strong expertise in GCP BigQuery and Matillion with a proven track record in data engineering.
  • Demonstrate experience in warehouse management systems and inventory management processes.
  • Exhibit proficiency in designing scalable data solutions and optimizing data workflows.
  • Showcase ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Display strong analytical skills to derive insights from complex data sets.
