About the role
As an Information Security Specialist – Adaptive Strategy, you will make an impact by supporting advanced threat analysis, fraud prevention, and adaptive security strategies across critical initiatives. You will work closely with third‑party security and fraud technology partners and internal stakeholders to strengthen incident response capabilities and support planned security projects.
You will be a valued member of the Information Security and Risk Management team and play a key role in enabling secure, compliant, and resilient operations in a highly regulated environment.
In this role, you will:
- Provide investigation and analysis support for high‑priority information security and fraud‑related incidents
- Support adaptive security strategy initiatives across incident response and planned project delivery
- Coordinate delivery activities across multiple programs and stakeholder groups
- Manage requirements gathering, policy support, and regression coordination
- Track deliverables, follow up with stakeholders, and maintain clear and accurate documentation
- Support identity protection and project readiness activities
- Collaborate with third‑party security and fraud solution providers to support threat analysis and mitigation strategies
Work model:

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days per week in a client or Cognizant office in Toronto, ON. What you need to have to be considered
- Experience in information security, fraud risk, or adaptive threat management
- Prior experience in a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role within the security or fraud domain
- Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent documentation and written communication abilities
- Experience working in regulated, compliance‑driven, or audit‑focused environments
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across incident response and project delivery
These will help you stand out
- Experience working with third‑party fraud or security vendors and platforms
- Familiarity with regulated financial services or payments environments
- Exposure to regulatory frameworks and oversight bodies
- Experience supporting large, cross‑functional security or risk programs
- Strong analytical mindset with a proactive approach to risk identification and mitigation

Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until June 7, 2026.
The annual salary for this position is between 63,000 - 95,000 CAD depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
