Position Summary:
We are looking for a Migration Lead / Cloud Architect with strong experience in enterprise data migration and cloud transformation. The role will translate business requirements into scalable technical architectures covering migration strategy, ETL/ELT, integrations, and modern data platforms such as Data Lakes and Data Warehouses. It will also use Generative AI and automation to accelerate design, improve productivity, and build reusable engineering frameworks while ensuring security, governance, performance, and delivery quality.
• 14+ years of experience in SQL, T-SQL, and data engineering
• Strong expertise in Azure, SQL Server, SSIS, Databricks, ADF, ADLS, and Snowflake
• Experience in data migration, profiling, cleansing, and migration assessments
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, warehousing, and reporting with Power BI
• Experience with CI/CD, Git, Azure DevOps, and metadata-driven automation
• Exposure to Generative AI for code generation, documentation, mapping, and analysis
• Strong stakeholder management, leadership, mentoring, and delivery skills
Mandatory Skills:
•Data migration and cloud transformation using Azure/Snowflake
•Azure data services, SQL Server, and MSBI stack
•Data warehousing, modeling, profiling, and quality assessment
•Python, T-SQL, Spark, CI/CD, Azure DevOps, and Git
•Power BI, stakeholder management, leadership, and Generative AI automation
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Lead architecture and delivery of large-scale data migration programs to cloud platforms.
•Define migration strategy, automation frameworks, and AI-assisted delivery approaches.
•Design ETL/ELT pipelines, integrations, and scalable data platforms.
•Drive data quality, reconciliation, governance, monitoring, and performance tuning.
•Use Generative AI to accelerate design, documentation, code generation, and reporting.
•Implement CI/CD and DevOps practices for reliable delivery.
•Collaborate with stakeholders and mentor teams across design, build, test, deployment, and support.
Qualifications & Certifications (Optional):
•Microsoft Azure Certifications
•Power BI / Fabric / Databricks certifications preferred
Salary Range: >$100,000
