Job Summary
Serve as the chief architect for enterprise master data management and privacy centric analytics solutions defining architectural strategy governing data platforms and guiding high impact delivery across hybrid environments. Apply deep expertise in MDM functional design data privacy and analytics to enable trusted insights that power responsible business decisions and societal value while collaborating with cross functional teams in a day shift hybrid work model.
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the enterprise wide architecture vision for master data management and analytics platforms to ensure trusted consistent and privacy aware data across all business functions.
- Design scalable MDM capabilities that harmonize customer product and partner data across diverse systems to support high quality analytics and regulatory compliant reporting.
- Oversee creation of logical and physical data models that incorporate privacy by design principles to safeguard personal and sensitive data used in analytical workloads.
- Guide solution teams in selecting and integrating MDM tools analytics platforms and privacy controls so that implementations remain aligned to the reference architecture and enterprise standards.
- Collaborate with analytics business and product stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into MDM and data privacy architecture roadmaps with measurable outcomes.
- Review and approve architecture artifacts for new initiatives by assessing performance security privacy scalability and cost implications across the hybrid environment.
- Provide architectural governance through design reviews decision records and reusable patterns that promote consistent implementation of MDM and privacy controls across projects.
- Partner with data privacy officers and information security teams to embed consent management data minimization masking and retention capabilities within the analytics ecosystem.
- Drive optimization of data integration pipelines and stewardship workflows to improve data quality lineage traceability and readiness for advanced analytics and artificial intelligence use cases.
- Mentor senior engineers and data professionals on MDM functional concepts privacy aware data modeling and analytics solution design to raise the overall architectural maturity of the organization.
- Assess new technologies and vendor solutions in MDM privacy enhancement and analytics infrastructure and recommend adoption strategies that align with business value and risk appetite.
- Coordinate with operations and support teams to ensure that hybrid deployments across on premises and cloud environments remain resilient observable and compliant with data protection obligations.
- Document reference architectures blueprints and implementation guidelines so delivery teams can reliably build and evolve analytics applications on top of the curated master data foundation.
Qualifications
- Bring extensive hands on experience designing and governing enterprise MDM solutions that support analytical and operational use cases in large complex organizations.
- Demonstrate strong expertise in data privacy concepts including anonymization pseudonymization consent management and data subject rights as applied to analytics platforms.
- Apply deep domain understanding in analytics to design architectures that enable descriptive diagnostic predictive and prescriptive insights using governed master data.
- Exhibit proficiency in data modeling data integration metadata management and data quality techniques that underpin robust MDM and analytics ecosystems.
- Show proven ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders data privacy functions and technical teams to balance innovation compliance and performance objectives.
- Display experience with hybrid data architectures that span on premises and cloud environments while maintaining consistent security privacy and governance policies.
- Utilize excellent communication and documentation skills to convey complex architectural decisions to both technical and nontechnical audiences and to drive alignment across teams.
Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until May 31, 2026.
The annual base salary for this position is between $220,000 - $240,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
