About the role
As an Onsite Delivery Manager, you will make an impact by driving client success through effective stakeholder management, delivery oversight, and workforce coordination. You will be a valued member of the delivery team and work closely with client stakeholders, onsite/offshore teams, and internal partners to ensure seamless service delivery and high customer satisfaction.
In this role, you will:
Act as the primary onsite lead managing Cognizant associates at the Santa Clara location
Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders through regular checkpoints and communication
Understand customer requirements, priorities, and feedback to continuously improve service delivery
Collaborate with onsite and offshore teams to align delivery with client expectations
Partner with internal teams to plan and fulfill staffing requirements
Facilitate onboarding of Cognizant associates onto the client network and environment
Coordinate and support Statement of Work (SoW) creation and finalization with stakeholders

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Santa Clara, CA, and 2 days working from home. What you need to have to be considered
Proven experience in project or delivery management within IT services
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders
Hands-on expertise in at least one core technology domain
Solid understanding of current and emerging technology trends
Working knowledge of Generative AI tools and technologies
Experience in a client-facing role managing delivery and coordination
These will help you stand out
Experience managing global delivery models (onsite/offshore collaboration)
Background in resource planning and workforce management
Ability to influence stakeholders and drive cross-functional alignment
Experience with client onboarding processes and access management
Exposure to SoW creation and commercial coordination
Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $100K - $115K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
