Job Summary

Serve as a systems engineer specializing in Windows platforms networking and desktop support delivering reliable day time technical services from the office for an international enterprise environment. Provide responsive incident resolution proactive maintenance and user focused support that helps protect business continuity and enables colleagues to work efficiently and securely across the organization. This is for Field services support roles.


Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced Windows system support by troubleshooting operating system application and profile issues to maintain a stable and secure workplace computing environment that supports critical business operations
  • Deliver prompt desktop support for office based colleagues by resolving hardware software and connectivity incidents to minimize downtime and improve overall user productivity in a structured enterprise setting
  • Administer user accounts security groups and access permissions on Windows based systems to uphold company security policies and ensure that each colleague has appropriate access to perform their role efficiently
  • Monitor endpoint health performance and patch status using enterprise tools to apply updates remediate faults and reduce the risk of service disruption or security exposure across the user device landscape
  • Coordinate closely with networking teams to identify and resolve connectivity problems involving switches routers and wireless access ensuring stable and consistent access to enterprise applications and shared resources
  • Document detailed root cause analysis resolution steps and configuration changes for incidents and requests to support knowledge sharing faster future resolution and continual improvement of support processes
  • Assist with standard operating environment builds image deployment and software rollouts to maintain consistent configurations reduce variance and support efficient onboarding of new colleagues and devices
  • Collaborate with information security and compliance stakeholders to implement endpoint security policies antivirus configurations and encryption measures that protect business data while maintaining user experience
  • Communicate clearly with non technical colleagues during incident handling by providing understandable status updates guidance and expectations that reduce user frustration and increase trust in technology services
  • Participate in small scale infrastructure improvement tasks such as desktop hardware refresh network printer optimization or configuration clean up that enhance system reliability and long term maintainability
  • Contribute to service metrics tracking by updating tickets accurately meeting response and resolution targets and providing data that helps the company refine support strategies and investment decisions
  • Support business continuity by assisting in backup validation on user systems profile and data recovery and endpoint readiness checks that help the organization recover swiftly from local technical disruptions
  • Engage in continuous learning on Windows networking and endpoint management capabilities to propose practical enhancements that improve operational efficiency and support the company mission of delivering reliable digital services to society


Qualifications

  • Possess professional experience in Windows desktop environments including installation configuration troubleshooting and patching to maintain secure and stable systems in a corporate context
  • Demonstrate practical networking knowledge covering concepts such as TCP IP addressing routing switching DNS and basic firewall rules to diagnose and resolve common connectivity and access issues
  • Bring proven hands on experience in desktop support for office users encompassing incident triage hardware diagnostics software support and coordination with other teams to restore service within agreed timelines
  • Show familiarity with enterprise tools for remote administration endpoint monitoring antivirus management and software deployment that enable efficient management of multiple systems at scale
  • Exhibit strong customer service skills with the ability to listen carefully ask clarifying questions and translate technical findings into clear and respectful explanations for colleagues at all levels
  • Display sound troubleshooting methodology including systematic isolation of variables effective use of logs and tools and clear documentation of steps taken to ensure repeatable and reliable problem resolution
  • Prefer exposure to IT service management practices such as incident problem and change processes within a structured ticketing system to maintain quality and traceability of all support activities


Certifications Required

Preferred certifications include Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate or equivalent Windows focused credential plus CompTIA Network Plus or similar networking certification
