Job Summary

Collaborate as a technology architect in a hybrid work model to design and optimize enterprise solutions for release manager planning and control using SAP release strategies and structured release management. Responsibilities

  • Drive end to end architectural design for SAP release strategies ensuring that production planning and control processes in industrial manufacturing are robust scalable and aligned with organizational objectives
  • Define and maintain comprehensive release management frameworks that coordinate application changes configuration updates and integration enhancements across complex SAP landscapes
  • Oversee design of technical standards and patterns for release strategies so that deployments minimize risk optimize system performance and support predictable day shift operations in a hybrid work model
  • Coordinate cross functional collaboration among production planning control teams SAP functional experts and infrastructure specialists to ensure that release plans reflect real world manufacturing constraints and priorities
  • Provide detailed impact assessments for planned releases evaluating effects on production schedules material availability shop floor execution and downstream reporting to prevent disruption of industrial manufacturing processes
  • Develop and refine environment strategies including development testing and production systems ensuring that each stage supports rigorous validation of release content before promotion to live operations
  • Guide implementation of automation and tooling for release management processes focusing on reliable transport management version control quality checks and traceability of changes across SAP modules
  • Monitor release cycle performance using clearly defined metrics and analytics and use insights to streamline deployment frequency improve stability and support continuous enhancement of production planning and control capabilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements from manufacturing operations into architectural roadmaps that leverage SAP release strategies to deliver measurable improvements in efficiency and compliance
  • Document detailed technical architectures release calendars risk registers and fallback procedures to ensure that all participants understand responsibilities timelines and corrective actions for each deployment
  • Support incident and problem analysis related to releases by tracing dependencies root causes and configuration changes and recommend architectural adjustments that strengthen long term system resilience
  • Mentor project teams on disciplined release practices and architectural guidelines so that solution designs remain consistent maintainable and aligned with enterprise technology strategy for industrial manufacturing
  • Contribute actively to organizational objectives by using technology architecture and release management expertise to reduce downtime enhance production predictability and support sustainable industrial growth


Qualifications

  • Demonstrate strong hands on experience in SAP release strategies and structured release management including design of transport paths approval workflows and coordinated deployment cycles across enterprise environments
  • Bring in depth domain knowledge of production planning and control in industrial manufacturing applying it to architect solutions that connect planning execution materials management and logistics through reliable SAP releases
  • Apply advanced analytical and problem solving skills to assess release risks optimize configuration dependencies and design mitigation approaches that protect critical manufacturing operations
  • Utilize excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in hybrid teams bridging technology and operations while ensuring that architectural decisions are clearly understood and adopted
  • Exhibit proven background of 10 to 14 years in technology architecture or equivalent roles guiding complex SAP initiatives and large scale change programs within manufacturing focused organizations
  • Show familiarity with modern tooling for change management testing and quality assurance within SAP environments enabling consistent verification of release content and traceable deployment histories
  • Maintain strong awareness of industry practices for governance compliance and audit readiness in release management ensuring that architectural designs support regulatory obligations and internal control standards


Certifications Required

SAP Certified Technology Specialist System Administration or equivalent SAP technology architecture certification relevant to release management
