Job Summary
We are seeking a Lead ServiceNow GRC Solutions Architect to provide technical architecture, scoped application design, and delivery leadership across the Security Operations portfolio. This role will own the design, configuration, and implementation of key ServiceNow SecOps modules including Vulnerability Response, Application Vulnerability Response, Configuration Compliance, and Security Incident Response. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on ServiceNow development experience, deep SecOps module expertise, and the ability to lead developers through complex workflow, integration, and scoped application delivery. This position requires strong technical leadership, secure-by-design thinking, and ServiceNow.

In this role, you will:
· Lead the technical design, configuration, customization, and implementation of ServiceNow Security Operations modules including VR, AVR, CC, and SIR.
· Own technical architecture across the SecOps portfolio, ensuring scalable, secure, and maintainable platform solutions.
· Architect and optimize complex workflows, business rules, integrations, automation logic, and remediation processes.
· Design and implement WIAM integrations and automated remediation workflows within the ServiceNow SecOps environment.
· Enforce technical isolation through scoped applications to support secure multi-tenant data segregation and platform governance.
· Establish reusable design patterns, development standards, and best practices for ServiceNow SecOps delivery.
· Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and serve as the final escalation point for technical blockers.
· Mentor mid-level ServiceNow developers and provide delivery leadership across implementation and enhancement initiatives.
What you need to have to be considered
· 8+ years of experience in ServiceNow development, implementation, or platform engineering roles.
· Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow Security Operations modules including Vulnerability Response, Application Vulnerability Response, Configuration Compliance, and Security Incident Response.
· Deep understanding of ServiceNow scoped applications, platform architecture, workflow automation, and secure configuration practices.
· Experience designing integrations, automated remediation workflows, and enterprise security operations processes.
· Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP APIs, and ServiceNow development best practices.
· Proven experience leading developers, conducting code reviews, and managing complex technical delivery across ServiceNow programs.
· Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
· ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification is preferred;
· ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or Architect certification is strongly preferred.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $[114,500 - 134,000] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
