In this role, you will own and drive the end-to-end (E2E) testing strategy and delivery for the Finance Transformation programme, with primary accountability for integrated E2E quality across Oracle and all upstream/downstream integrations. This role establishes programme-level test governance, quality gates, and cross-workstream coordination across multiple workstreams, ensuring functional and technical E2E readiness for cutover, parallel run, and go-live. This is a programme-level testing leadership role — execution is performed by workstream test leads and IT QA/scrum teams; the E2E Testing Lead orchestrates planning, assures coverage/traceability, and escalates risks/issues.
In this role, you will
- Own programme-level E2E quality outcomes for Oracle releases, including RICE deliverables, and provide integrated go/no-go recommendations based on evidence.
- Develop, own, and drive the end-to-end test strategy, framework, and governance across multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment with programme objectives and delivery timelines.
- Develop comprehensive test plans, including scope, approach, resource requirements, tooling, and success metrics.
- Lead creation/review of high-quality E2E test scenarios, test cases, and traceability to requirements and business processes.
- Define and enforce quality gates, entry/exit criteria, and risk-based testing approaches throughout the SDLC.
- Maintain a clear traceability matrix linking business requirements to test coverage across all integration and regression suites.
- Establish E2E test governance: test plans, test schedule, RAID management, defect triage model, and reporting cadence.
- Align E2E testing to program milestones (releases, cutovers, parallel runs) and ensure readiness for go-live.
- Lead and coordinate testing activities across multiple parallel workstreams, managing dependencies, shared environments, and data requirements.
- Delivered in multiple releases, with designated test leads accountable for system testing across the various test cycles; the End-to-End Testing Lead will work closely with these leads to coordinate integrated planning and execution and to ensure end-to-end quality across the solution and all related integrations.
- Collaborate closely with programme managers, solution architects, and delivery leads to integrate quality assurance into programme planning from the outset.
- Facilitate defect triage, root cause analysis, and resolution processes, ensuring clear prioritization and timely closure.
- Ensure Unit Testing/SIT/UAT/performance/regression activities are coordinated and traceable end-to-end, including test data and environment dependencies.
- Produce and present clear, concise quality reports and dashboards for programme leadership, highlighting risks, progress, and key metrics.
- Act as the primary escalation point for testing issues, risks, and blockers across all streams.
Required skills:
- 10+ years of QA experience, with at least 3 years in a senior testing leadership role on large-scale or complex programmes.
- Must have proven track record of owning end-to-end test strategy on enterprise-grade transformation, Oracle, ERP, or digital programmes.
- Must have experience on Oracle programmes in finance/actuarial contexts, including testing of accounting flows, posting rules, reconciliations, period close impacts, and integrations.
- Experience on cloud-native or cloud-migration programmes with an understanding of how infrastructure impacts test design.
- Experience managing and developing QA teams, including workload planning and performance management.
- Background in data migration testing or system integration testing across complex, multi-vendor landscapes.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (functional, regression, Integration, UAT, performance, etc.), including governance, evidence-based quality reporting, and release readiness.
- Proficiency with QA Tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
- Excellent communication skills — able to translate technical quality concerns into clear business language for senior stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a structured approach to risk identification and mitigation.
Preferred skills
- Banking and Insurance Domain is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with enterprise platforms and integration/API testing patterns.
