About the Role
As a Senior Healthcare Facets QA Engineer, you will make an impact by leading Quality Engineering efforts across Healthcare Payer programs and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality solutions on the Facets platform. You will be a valued member of the Quality Engineering team and work closely with business stakeholders, developers, architects, product owners, and client teams to deliver complex healthcare transformation initiatives.
In This Role, You Will:
Lead end-to-end Quality Engineering delivery for Healthcare Facets programs, including functional, integration, regression, UAT, and release testing activities.
Define and manage test strategy, planning, estimation, governance, risk management, defect management, and release readiness processes.
Coordinate multiple testing workstreams to ensure successful execution and delivery against project timelines and quality objectives.
Manage cross-functional and multi-vendor teams across onsite and offshore locations to drive collaboration and project success.
Partner with stakeholders to provide testing governance, status reporting, issue resolution, and quality metrics visibility.
Drive quality best practices and continuous improvement initiatives across testing and delivery processes.

What You Need to Have to Be Considered
8+ years of Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering experience with a strong focus on Healthcare Payer systems and Facets platform testing.
Proven experience in end-to-end test management, including test strategy, planning, estimation, execution, defect management, and release governance.
Strong Healthcare Payer domain expertise with experience in Claims (including ITS/BlueCard), Enrollment, Benefits, Provider, Billing, and EDI transactions (834, 837, and 835).
Experience leading cross-functional, multi-vendor, and onsite-offshore testing teams within large-scale healthcare initiatives.
Strong understanding of testing methodologies, quality processes, risk management, and defect lifecycle management.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
These Will Help You Stand Out
Experience supporting Facets modernization, migration, or transformation programs.
Healthcare industry certifications and Quality certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, or CSQA.
Experience working with complex healthcare integrations and enterprise-wide testing initiatives.
Knowledge of test automation and Quality Engineering best practices.
Experience working in client-facing delivery environments.

Salary and Other Compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $53,477 to $92,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
