About the role

As a Senior Product Consultant - Facets, you will make an impact by partnering with healthcare payer clients to design, optimize, and enhance Facets solutions across claims, membership, provider, group, and plan product domains. You will leverage deep payer industry expertise and advanced Facets knowledge to translate complex business requirements into scalable, compliant, and efficient solutions that improve operational performance and member outcomes.

You will be a valued member of the Healthcare Consulting team and work closely with business stakeholders, operations leaders, product owners, architects, and technology teams to drive successful Facets implementations and transformation initiatives.

In this role, you will:
Lead end-to-end consulting engagements for payer clients, analyzing business processes and translating requirements into optimized Facets solutions.
Conduct requirement discovery workshops with business stakeholders to capture needs related to claims, provider networks, membership, eligibility, benefits, and group administration.
Design and recommend scalable Facets configurations that improve claims adjudication accuracy, member eligibility management, and operational efficiency.
Perform impact assessments for Facets enhancements and changes across claims, membership, provider, group, and plan product modules to protect system integrity and downstream processes.
Configure and validate plan product setups, including benefit designs, accumulators, coverage rules, and related business configurations.
Analyze and resolve complex Facets workflow and data issues by leveraging a deep understanding of the Facets data model and business processes.
Collaborate with technology and integration teams to define provider, membership, and claims data requirements that support enterprise business objectives.
Develop testing strategies and oversee functional, integration, and regression testing to ensure successful solution delivery.
Create process documentation, solution artifacts, and best-practice guidance to support operational excellence and knowledge sharing.
Provide ongoing consulting support and product expertise to business users, helping drive continuous improvement and effective use of the Facets platform.
Analyze operational metrics and system performance data to identify opportunities for process optimization, cost containment, and enhanced member experiences.
Foster collaboration across distributed teams and client organizations while maintaining strong stakeholder engagement in a hybrid work environment.


What you need to have to be considered
8+ years of experience in product consulting, business analysis, solution consulting, or related roles within the healthcare payer industry.
Advanced knowledge of the Facets data model, including table relationships, data structures, and system configuration principles.
Strong hands-on experience with Facets Claims, including adjudication workflows, benefit determination, pricing, and claims processing.
Deep expertise in Facets Membership, including eligibility management, enrollment structures, subscriber and dependent relationships, and coverage administration.
Experience configuring and supporting Facets Provider functionality, including provider data management, contract structures, participation status, and reimbursement arrangements.
Strong knowledge of Facets Group administration, including group hierarchies, account structures, and billing-related configurations.
Expertise in Facets Plan Product configuration, including benefit structures, accumulators, coverage rules, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Strong understanding of healthcare payer operations, health plan administration, and industry regulations.
Experience gathering requirements, conducting impact assessments, and translating business needs into functional and technical solution designs.
Proven ability to perform data analysis, troubleshoot system issues, and develop evidence-based recommendations.
Strong communication, presentation, and documentation skills with experience engaging both business and technical stakeholders.


These will help you stand out
Experience leading large-scale Facets implementation, optimization, or modernization programs.
Knowledge of healthcare enrollment, billing, provider network management, and claims operations.
Experience supporting health plans across Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, or Marketplace lines of business.
Experience working with enterprise integration solutions and healthcare data exchanges.
Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and healthcare technology transformation initiatives.
Experience mentoring analysts, consultants, and implementation teams.
Strong understanding of quality assurance, testing methodologies, and release management processes.
Facets certification or other healthcare payer platform certifications.
Work Model

Work Model: Remote

This is a fully remote position, allowing associates to work from their home office while collaborating closely with healthcare payer clients, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams. The role requires strong virtual communication, stakeholder engagement, and collaboration skills to successfully deliver Facets consulting, solution design, and operational improvement initiatives across distributed teams.

The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $99K - $114K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
